Although she said that, amidst the hymns echoing through the entire church, Shu Wan still felt too embarrassed to continue with Fu Siyu.
She tugged on Fu Siyu's sleeve. "Let's go."
Sensing the slight movement on his sleeve, Fu Siyu glanced down and saw Shu Wan's crystalline fingers resting on his arm, stirring something unconsciously within him.
He nodded, lifting his hand to encircle Shu Wan's fingers. "Okay, let's go."
They had entered through the east gate and after making a full circle, had to exit from the west gate, without bringing the umbrella they had used before.
At that moment, a heavy snow began to fall outside again. Shu Wan, wanting to look her best, had not worn a down jacket but a thick white coat instead, which now left her shivering in the chilly wind.
Shu Wan tried to pull her hand out from Fu Siyu's palm to wrap her coat tighter around her, but Fu Siyu suddenly flipped open one side of the coat, enveloping her entirely in his embrace.
