Waking up from a hangover, Shen Tan felt as if her head would split open.
Since she had given birth to two children, she seldom drank, let alone to the point of getting drunk.
Upon opening her eyes, she saw two little heads beside her bed, and two pairs of round, wide eyes staring at her. The moment they saw her awake, they excitedly asked, "Mom, you're awake?"
"Babies, what time is it?" Shen Tan rubbed her temples, easing her headache as she asked.
"It's already nine o'clock!" Shen Ning cutely announced.
"What?" Shen Tan was taken aback, then looked at them apologetically and said, "I'm sorry, it's my fault for waking up late, causing you to miss kindergarten. Why didn't you wake me up earlier?"
The young girl blinked her big eyes and crisply said, "Mom, are you muddled from sleep? Today is the weekend, we don't have to go to kindergarten."
"I'm sorry, I forgot." Shen Tan sat up and said, "Are you hungry? What do you want to eat? Shall Mommy order some takeout for you?"
