"Please." Ji Tian sneered softly. "Is that supposed to impress me?"
"What do you mean by that?" Her tone was somewhat angry.
"The Qin Family of the Central Continent prides itself on a century-old heritage, but the Qing Dynasty is long gone. Don't try to use your past glory to pressure others. Either talk about money directly or don't bother with all that pompous nonsense."
Ji Tian detested threats the most, as if a few harsh words would scare her. Unfortunately for them, she was naturally stubborn; the more they tried to pressure her, the more she would let them know they were not dealing with someone easy to push around.
