" You haven't told me who you like Aaron. I know you didn't decide to hunt Amanda down on your own accord. Who did you do it for?" Ken asked
Aaron cleared his throat as he diverted his eyes from his friend. He couldn't help himself as he remembered Mina's smile. He can't wait to meet his baby again.
" She…um she is Naarah's friend."
Ken choked on his tea. He swallowed down the rest in his mouth.
" You really fell in love? You really did? You're not lying to me, are you? " Ken exclaimed
" Will you quit this bullshit. I did. I did fall for someone and she isn't any someone. She is the mother of my baby."
" You have a kid! You had her pregnant too! Damn it, Aaron!"
Aaron rolled his eyes at him. Stacey entered the room and sat closer to her husband. She sipped on the tea Ken had placed down.
"I'm listening," she said
"Didn't you say, dinner was ready?" Aaron snapped
Stacey giggled and said;
" Dinner can wait. But your tea can't. Spill it, boy. What's her name?"
"Mina, Mina Angel. She is the most beautiful angel I have set my eyes on"
"Because the devil never meets angels. You're lucky" Ken murmured to himself
Stacey slapped his thigh to make him shut up.
" I can't wait to see her. I wanna see the woman who was brave enough to carry your child. What is the name of your baby?"
Aaron scratched his head, he didn't know how to tell his friend. They hadn't given their baby a name. Does he even care about the baby? The only person he could think about was and would always be his princess. Now he had two princesses.
" We haven't given her a name yet."
" The hell! You left without giving your baby a name. What is wrong with you Aaron? Did I mean what I meant when I said it was a pity you survived?"
" Watch your tongue, Stacey. I might forget you are Ken's wife." Aaron growled
" Or what?"
Ken cleared his throat. The tension in the air was suffocating.
" Did you force her to have the baby, so you can keep her to yourself?" Ken asked
Aaron was thrown off guard. Did he force her? He wanted to keep her to himself with the baby in the way. So he could say he did force her. But in a good way. However the good way had led to a lot of downfall.
"Let's go down for dinner. I'm famished."
Ken nodded. He didn't want to push him any further. As he got closer to his friend, Ken placed his hand on his shoulder.
" Always know even if you fuck up. I'm going to be with you. We are brothers after all. Don't mind Stacey. She is unique in her way.
" Unique my ass. She has an attitude and she needs to fix that."
" I heard that, Vetercio."
" Good, because I needed you to hear it."
Aaron turned to his friend and said.
" After this mission. I'm going to wife her up. And I mean it. I have to right my wrongs and she has been patient enough. I would understand if she decides to hit me after this mission but I'm ready for that. I really love her. She doesn't know that yet."
