"W-What?" Before Boris could utter a word, the cold winds blasted outward as a giant lizard-like aetheric beast flapped its wings and loomed behind Damien and Hecate. Its crimson eyes narrowed while it growled at the pair of Lycanthropes before its master.
"Eeek-" Alice recoiled and shrank behind the back of her older brother, unable to bear the oppression emanating from the Wyvern. Damien chuckled at the sight and introduced his summoned monster to the two. "This is Fafnir, my monster."
"My partner and I will be on its back during the journey, so there's no need for you to accommodate us by slowing down," Damien added as Hecate caressed the Wyvern's jaws, touching its slick scales.
Boris was astonished to have a giant flying aetheric beast tamed by a Jaeger, but it was to be expected. After all, the one before him wasn't any Jaeger. It was the first intelligent Aberrant in the New World.
