Among the kids sent to Central Music, most of them have won awards in music during their elementary or middle school years. But whether learning music in the future is their own choice or their parents', it's mostly equally split. In other words, in a class, at least half of the students are here due to their parents' choice. Therefore, those who are reluctant about becoming musicians in the future have to put in more effort than others when the school offers competition opportunities, just to avoid compromising with fate too early.
And the remaining half, even if they don't purely love it, at least know that they need to make a living from it in the future. They've already reached a stage where they have no desires or demands, with all their thoughts and actions revolving around playing and practicing music.
Since entering this high school, Hua Yan has gradually leaned towards the latter group.
