"Isn't it because you're such a good accomplice!" Bai He smiled at Red Spider.
The two teamed up against the Old Madam. Bai He and Red Spider's relationship had always been an undercover alliance. The Old Madam thought there was no deep connection between Red Spider and Bai He, so she groomed her into a confidante, unaware that Red Spider was actually Bai He's close friend. This played right into Bai He's plan, so Bai He decided to use strategy, having Red Spider deliberately oppose her. This way, it became easy to obtain information about the Old Madam from Red Spider.
