Starting from 13:00 on September 20th, genius disciples from various major forces began to encounter assassination attempts.
The first to be targeted was last year's and this year's true inheritor geniuses from the Cangming Star Hall.
The first true inheritor disciple from the Cangming Star Hall, Yu Xingye, was poisoned to death.
Yu Xingye was known as the once-in-a-decade top genius of the Cangming Star Hall and had been considered the disciple most likely to achieve the Star-picking Golden Star.
Following that, there were thirteen assassination attempts in the Cangming Star Hall and within the Dachu territory.
Including Yu Xingye, three were successful, two were counter-killed, two genius disciples were crippled, three were seriously injured, and the rest sustained minor wounds.
