The Deputy Governor burst into an exasperated laughter, "Am I crazy, or are you?"
"Mobilizing the militia to enter the city is a big deal, do you know that could bring trouble to many people!"
"The Governor will never agree!"
Under non-essential circumstances, the military, even the militia, were not allowed to freely enter the city, let alone a crucial northern hemisphere seaport hub like Golden Port City.
This was no longer a crackdown on gangs, this was a massive political event!
The Mayor remained unfazed by the Deputy Governor's stance, not rushing or getting angry, he simply maintained his demeanor and said at an even pace, "What if I were injured?"
"What if there was an assassination attempt on me, and I suffered a gunshot wound, and in the short term, couldn't show my face, plunging the entire city into even more frenzied riots?"
