Elvin's gaze finally left the car, and as he was watching it, Bandy seemed to sense his stare.
He saw the young man in the front passenger seat watching him and vaguely noticed another person in the back seat who wasn't quite clear.
This person's eyes showed no respect, fear, or any such sentiments towards him; instead, there was a look like he was being eyed as prey, which made him uncomfortable.
He began to doubt whether these people were actually Rick's gunners or if they were someone else altogether...
The thought sent a chill up his spine, inching its way up and raising goosebumps with each climb, making him shiver again!
He withdrew his gaze from them, and could easily have stopped to call Rick from a phone booth by the roadside, to inform him that things might be changing.
Yet, for some reason, he didn't stop; instead, he told the driver to speed up, "A bit faster."
The farther he got from that place, the more his uneasy feeling began to fade.
