Francisco came running up the slope, a bit out of breath, "Is something the matter?"
Alberto glanced at Lance, while Lance pretended not to notice his glances, so he had to speak himself.
"We were just discussing matters regarding your uncles."
The smile on Francisco's face quickly disappeared, becoming calm.
When Paul was around, those uncles, aunts, and grandfathers were very nice to him, often bringing him things.
Food, drinks, toys, books, or other items, everyone seemed nice, as if they all liked him, and he couldn't sense their malice.
But after Paul suddenly died, things became somewhat... unsettling.
They always said he was too young to understand the family's operations and told him to focus on his studies, assuring him they'd handle the family's matters.
Just because he was young didn't mean he was stupid.
