Either that, or truly rotten!
Stupid, or rotten, always one or the other.
A couple of days later, Vaughn (the president of the Dock Workers' Union) gave Lance a call, saying that the penalties from the Dangerous Goods Administration were over and the Worker Club could reopen.
Naturally, this was something many of the workers had been hoping for.
The Port District has quite a few underground bars, but their alcohol prices are noticeably higher than the club's; even just a dime or two's difference is enough to make it unaffordable for some workers.
Luckily, the Dangerous Goods Administration chose to lift the ban on the Worker Club, and it could now continue its business.
"I heard the General Union gave you a dressing down?" Lance asked with a smile.
This news also came from within the Workers' Union; the Labor Union wanted to promote a larger-scale strike, but Vaughn not only didn't cooperate with them, he also suppressed the strike at the docks with Lance and the local police.
