It seems like a prank, but in essence, it's an obedience test.
If you obey them and accept their decisions, then you are the person they're selecting.
If you feel insulted and dislike it, then, okay, you're not the one they're looking for, and you can't join their organization.
After graduating college, those who joined these Brotherhood organizations receive recommendation letters from classmates, enter big companies, or start new lives in government agencies.
