I still plan to finish this novel. It's just that being enrolled in two universities, juggling a part-time job, and not really liking how the story is turning out has made the process a bit slow. I'll probably be removing all of Roland's parts from around chapters 430–500 or so.
- Going back to add more depth and detail to each girl.
- Making Logan feel less amateurish in his interactions with them.
- Giving each creature more space to shine.
I had considered removing the harem aspect altogether, but after thinking it through, I realized I couldn't do that. Each girl adds something unique, so the next step is figuring out how to make it all work naturally.
For now, I'm focusing on another book, but I'll start releasing stealth updates of this one in the coming weeks—mostly continuing from where I left off editing. The new releases will mainly take the form of re-edits, where the story might diverge slightly.
That should actually benefit those who already bought the earlier chapters, since they won't need to purchase new ones.
That's the plan, at least. I'm aiming for some major releases in December, when I get two or three weeks off from both schools. Until then, I'll try to push through as much editing and rewriting as possible.
