Amidst the grey mist, another small boat approached Ronald slowly on the waves.
As they drew nearer, Ronald could see the 'passenger' on the opposite side.
It was a person dressed in a tattered black coarse robe, their figure and appearance entirely hidden beneath bandages. What caught Ronald's attention was that the figure also had a pair of grey eyes.
Before and after the crossing, this was a relatively rare eye color.
Ronald stared at the figure, while the person on the boat spoke directly.
"Foreigner, you should not have entered this place…"
The person's voice was hoarse like a worn windmill, exuding a mysterious aura, making it impossible to determine their age or gender.
However, Ronald did not want to chatter with the figure:
"Speak plainly, if you hold hostility towards me, then let's settle it with a fight; but if you have a purpose for coming here, then explain the situation here properly."
