Alice and Kedun's group paused in the sky, the pale white resembling an endless sea, stretching to the world's end.

Screech... Sharp and urgent sounds echoed continuously. Everyone lifted their heads, only to see a group of 'monsters' appearing in that white sky—lion-bodied with eagle heads, black stripes on their backs, two long brown flesh wings stretched out, flying in the air, with long tails swinging in the wind.
There are at least a hundred, swarming in like wasps.
"Be careful... Return to the ground." Alice's face changed color, immediately reminding everyone.
Swish, swish, swish...
Everyone immediately flew toward the ground. Although everyone could fly, their aerial combat abilities were evidently weaker than those of the bald lions' here. On the ground, they could exert their strongest combat power.
