Daphne stood up to leave the meeting, and an old man immediately spoke:
"What Daphne said isn't really a big issue; in the past, it was our inherent arrogance.
"Alright, Daphne, please sit down.
"We need to address two issues now. The first is, of course, to quell the chaos, and the second is to find Hanton's reserve cell."
Director Eno reminded, "Hanton should be in a child's state right now."
"Daphne," an old man asked, "Are you willing to come forward to calm the public, in the capacity of the White Ghost's wife?"
Daphne simply said, "I am not willing, Great-Grandfather."
"Why?"
"Because it's futile," Daphne replied, "My apologizing ten thousand times is not as effective as having you all send a few representatives to sincerely apologize to the public and return most of the power to the Empire's regular institutions."
"Daphne, don't be so presumptuous."
"Oh dear!"
