Allison instantly felt the specialty drink in her hand lose its taste, repeating what the officer had just said:
"The Wind Alliance's escort fleet has surrounded us?"
"Yes! You can look out the portside window to see the bow of one of their battleships."
Allison, the deputy director, and two civilian staff members in the lounge rushed to a few windows to look outside carefully.
They saw the distant grey-black, distinctly Sherman Empire industrial-style super-kilometer battleship...
The officer quickly said:
"They directly jumped to the nearby space, and they also received the application to enter this airspace; it isn't a political stronghold of the Guel Alliance.
"But their landing points were precisely distributed around our fleet's perimeter, a total of three landing points, positioning us in a pincer attack.
"Then, three minutes ago, they began to converge and advance directly toward us!"
