Instantly, the Card Master felt a searing pain. Looking down, he found three gashes carved so deep into his shoulder that bone was visible. The agony made him grimace, and he swung his weapon in a desperate, overwhelming barrage.
With pinpoint precision, Ye Fan caught the weapon. He gave it a simple twist, and it snapped in half.
The Card Master's chest was struck again, sending him flying into a large tree. As he struggled to rise, Ye Fan seized him by the neck, hoisted him into the air, and pinned him against the trunk.
"Who sent you?" Ye Fan asked coldly. "You have one chance. If I'm not satisfied with your answer, your neck will snap in the next second!"
