The Great Dao reaches the heavens, accompanied by loneliness. In Ye Xuan's lifetime, he has neither kith nor kin nor friends, and those he truly acknowledges as friends are very few.
Whether it's the chubby Huang or Gu Beichen, both have followed Ye Xuan for over three million years, and Ye Xuan treats them as brothers. Yet, there remains an insurmountable barrier between them, that barrier being the reverence they hold for him in their hearts.
Though they are brothers, they are still master and servant, but the word 'friend' does not truly apply.
The Primordial Heaven and Earth are vast beyond measure. Some wish to become friends with Ye Xuan, but they aren't qualified, and the only one who is qualified is Luo Hou, yet he considers Ye Xuan the greatest rival of his lifetime.
Eternal solitude, looking back with neither kin nor friend!
