The Dao is simple.

At least the current Zhao Changhe hasn't been able to withstand the passage of time, his hair has turned white.
Yet he still smiles joyfully.
Because, unlike when Ruoyu encountered witchcraft and aged from head to toe; or when testing time in the Heavenly River and causing the withered poplars to bloom.
His body resisted aging and decay, remaining unchanged. His face still youthful, handsome, and bright.
It's just the hair turning white... a sign of partial aging, but it doesn't affect the battle at all. Maybe he looks even more dashing, after all, some people dye their hair white, there's the national penchant for white hair, although not for men...
I digress. Such localized effects of aging mean it can be adjusted back with some rest; the primary point is that Zhao Changhe can endure the seasonal decay on a Heavenly Dao Level.
It's just that.
