December 28th was the day they had promised to go see the sea.
At nine in the morning, a trio plus the elementary school student Little Lian took an old, single-carriage train, leaving the basin where Misezawa Village was located.
Upon reaching the nearest town, they transferred to a bus that could take them to the sea.
An expansive azure sky, cloudless, the bus traveled under such a sky.
"Che, Che, a really big car just passed by!" Little Lian tugged at Dubian Che's sleeve.

"Over there!"
