In one Shipborne Air Force Wing, there is only one Fighter Squadron, typically 20 aircraft, a maximum of 24. The two Special Mixed Fleets combined have only 112 F-14Bs, and more than 10 have been lost in previous battles, with replacement fighters yet to arrive.
The main reason is that the 52nd Special Mixed Fleet has moved forward to the northeast of Transfer Island, not remaining behind the 51st Special Mixed Fleet, and the distance between the two Special Mixed Fleets to Newland's mainland exceeds the maximum range of the F-14B. Without the 52nd Special Mixed Fleet serving as a stepping stone, a large Air Force refueling aircraft must be deployed. Unfortunately, the Air Force is currently preoccupied, with over 100 large refueling aircraft deployed on the west coast all serving bombers.
Actually, even counting the F/A-18s, there are not enough fighters.
"What you mean is, we'll be exposed first?"
