During this period, the Liangxia Navy not only conducted live-fire training with the fleet, air force, and Marine Corps at this location but also used it as a testing ground for advanced weapons. Mainly, during the war, the Liangxia Navy relocated the indigenous inhabitants of the island and designated the island as a military control zone.
This situation persisted until the end of the Boi War.
Under protest from the indigenous people, especially with support from the Newland Federation Authority, the Liangxia Authorities had to make concessions, handing over the control of Kauai Island from the navy, lifting the state of military control, and gradually arranging for the originally displaced indigenous population to return to their homeland.
To improve its image, the Liangxia Authorities meticulously developed Kauai Island as a "showcase area" within the Howay Islands.
