The Beast Herd Species have two characteristics.
First, all life forms and all individuals that compose the Beast Herd Species must belong to a single species.
"Soldier ants," "worker ants," and "ant queens," although highly differentiated with significant differences in appearance, all belong to the same species and possess highly similar bloodlines.
However, "blue algae" and "chlorella" do not.
According to biological definitions, the Beast Herd Species is the intelligence of a "species," whereas the Sea God Type are "communities."
Additionally, each individual within the Beast Herd Species carries a part of the memory and even part of the processing circuits of the species. Losing an individual means the Beast Herd Species loses a portion of its memory. If the number of deaths of individuals within the Beast Herd Species exceeds one-third, the species might even lose its thinking ability altogether.
