"Oh, Scholar, blessings to you."
Unknowingly, I walked to the fields, and a blessing came from the wheat field.
Eden looked up and saw the farmer, the very one who had initially offered lodging but later drove him away for some reason.
"And may you be blessed too. How are your two sons?"
Eden asked casually.
"They're still at home, have been staying for almost half a month now."
Half a month?
Does that mean I was unconscious in the forest for not just three or four days, but actually seven or eight days?
"Ah, so I've been away for this long."
"Scholar, did you...discover anything on the mountain?"
The farmer looked toward the direction he came from and asked.
"No, nothing at all. I got lost inside."
Eden replied quickly, as if stung by a bee.
The farmer showed a dejected look, murmuring: I knew it, the legend is false.
"How's that mute old man?"
Eden didn't want to continue on this topic, so he changed the subject.
"Oh, you mean that mute old fellow?"
