Starry sky, civilization boundary, Ming'e Building 09077 outer space, makeshift spaceport
Lunning, as usual, ended his break with a cup of herbal tea recommended by a friend, and returned to the high tower in the makeshift spaceport.
The high tower in front of him stood upright, extending all the way beyond the life shield of the spaceport. The top of the cylindrical tower was in the shape of a disc, offering the best view of the whole spaceport.
Unfortunately, the spaceport was not a place of scenic beauty.
In every direction, there was nothing but an endless starry sky and a lifeless metallic expanse of the star port.
Even the planet below was just a large, barren rock, its minerals already extracted and surface scarred.
Even someone like him, who once loved warships and the starry sky, had long eroded all enthusiasm in the daily grind of work, let alone that there weren't even many ships docking on an average home planet day.
