Lin Zida and Zhuang Jianhui stood in the eastern corridor. Under the night sky, a cold and lonely moon hung high, emitting a pale and desolate light.
Lin Zida said, "I heard that some expelled students had their families pull strings to get people from the education bureau to talk to the principal."
Zhuang Jianhui was indifferent, "And the result?"
Lin Zida: "Since they've already been expelled, nothing will change."
"Pull strings?" Zhuang Jianhui sneered, feeling ridiculous, "Those people, thinking they have some small connections, want to change the established reality. It's just too funny."
Lin Zida understood, "It's a society based on human connections; it's normal."
Zhuang Jianhui said lightly, "Ignorance."
Immediately, he added, "But, it's just as well. After they've tried pulling strings, they'll understand what it means to be an ephemera against the vast sky."
