Chapter 466 - Chapter 116: Unforeseen Event

Moonlight shone with a hint of frost as Xu Shu walked along the main road. Shadowy figures of Ghost Cultivators loomed outside the windows, while inside the carriage, a mother and daughter shed tears in tandem.

At this moment, it was December 3rd, around four or five o'clock in the morning. The sun had not yet risen, and the moon was about to set. It was the darkest hour of the day.

The Fingerless Nuns, carrying lanterns that emitted a gloomy Ghost Fire, quietly followed both in front of and behind the carriage, responsible for leading the way. The carriage moved slowly, its silent procession casting a sinister and dreadful air, as though an entourage of Ghost Soldiers was passing through.

The scene was eerily reminiscent of the one from yesterday.

Considering that they already knew of Xu Shu's strength and had not noticed the monsters that had gathered earlier in the night nearby, everyone was not particularly worried.
