The 'Qingyun List' is a ranking for young experts of the Second Rank. The top ten receive 100 contributions weekly. While it might not seem like much, in terms of crystals, it's four to five pieces.
For ordinary Second-order Transcendents, this is actually enough to level up. If used sparingly, it's entirely enough for weekly expenses, even with some surplus.
But for someone like Xu Shu, who spends money fast, it's not nearly enough.
Back when he was Second Rank, leveling up required nearly 200 contribution points in crystals.
