The Princess showed an embarrassed expression and awkwardly said, "After I came up, I was chased by the Snake-men and accidentally fell, and ended up pulling the lever in front of me... I really didn't expect this lever to ring the bell."
Who would have thought that at what appeared to be an ancient mechanism on top of the Ancient Dragon Peak, there was actually a lever that could strike a bell!
"Now that things have come to this, it's better to think about how to salute later." Fingerley took a few deep breaths, trying to ease the tension.
"It's okay, you see, Mr. Hawkwood looks so calm, there must be no problem!" Selene said.
People turned to look at Hawkwood, who smiled and motioned for silence, pointing towards the sky.
Fingerley wondered if it was an illusion, but he felt that Hawkwood seemed to have become more spirited?
