The moment he said that—
"No, no, no! That's not good enough, Kazuki-kun! You should call me Big Bro-in-Law! Or just Big Bro!"
"Absolutely not." Kazuki rejected instantly.
This was the same guy who had nearly obliterated him earlier, and after seeing how much of a dumbass he could be, Kazuki had no intention of getting any closer to Sirzechs than necessary.
"Then… then how about calling me 'Sera-Oneechan'?"
"That's…"
He had no idea how she thought that was a reasonable alternative, but it was way too much. He opened his mouth to refuse, but—
"Is that a no?" Serafall's big, pleading eyes locked onto his.
"Sera-nee-san, then."
"Yay! It's decided!"
'Fuck.' He'd fallen for it.
Serafall's 'Is that a no?' attack had been too much.
She was a Maou, and yet she had the face of an innocent girl begging for affection. He didn't stand a chance.
Kazuki sighed, already feeling the weight of his defeat.
Rias, meanwhile, crossed her arms and glared at him, her expression ice cold.
"Kazuki… seriously?"
'Yeah, I'm feeling it.' The chilly gazes from Rias and the others were piercing into him.
'But what was I supposed to do?!'
At times like this, he recalled the words of a great historical figure:
"Cute is justice."
Just as Kazuki was mentally preparing to accept his fate—
Ding-dong, ding-dong!
The school bell rang, signaling the start of the next class.
"Oh no! Class is about to start!"
Issei quickly bowed to the Demon Lords and bolted, prompting the other second-years to follow his lead and rush up to the third floor where their classrooms were.
Kazuki took the opportunity to escape, sprinting toward his own classroom.
"Ah! Kazuki, wait up—!"
Rias called out to stop him, but he ignored her and kept running.
"Do your best, Kazu-kun~~☆"
Serafall—no, Sera-nee-san—cheered him on in a bubbly voice as he dashed toward class.
"…Well, they've all gone now."
As the students returned to their classrooms, the courtyard fell quiet.
Now, the only ones left were Sirzechs, his father, Grayfia, and Serafall.
"So, Serafall. What exactly was that all about?" Sirzechs spoke up, his expression unreadable.
"Hm? What do you mean?" Serafall tilted her head cutely, playing dumb.
Unfortunately for her, Sirzechs wasn't Kazuki—he had known her for far too long to fall for her innocent act.
"Obviously, I'm talking about that whole 'Onee-chan' thing."
Kazuki was Rias's Pawn, her servant, and—though unofficial—her fiancé. Yet Serafall had just forced him to call her 'big sister.' From an outsider's perspective, it could easily look like Kazuki had chosen Sona over Rias.
"Hmmm, I didn't really mean anything by it~? I just thought… having a cute little sister like Sona-chan is great and all, but having a cheeky yet kind little brother like Kazu-kun might be fun too☆"
Serafall winked playfully, unfazed by his scrutiny.
"Besides, Oji-sama hasn't even officially approved Rias-chan's engagement to Kazuki yet, right? So technically, nothing's set in stone. If Sona-chan happens to get close to Kazu-kun in the meantime, there shouldn't be a problem, right?~ And from the looks of it… he is interested in her."
Serafall turned toward the doorway, where three figures had just arrived.
Sona. Saji. And Yumi.
It looked like they had returned from the infirmary.
"W-W-W-Wait… Me and Fuwa-kun…?" Sona stammered, her face instantly turning bright red.
It seemed like she had imagined the scenario in her head.
Saji was standing there, frozen in shock at hearing his master's older sister say such a thing. Meanwhile, Yumi puffed out her cheeks in obvious displeasure.
"Well, you never know how relationships between men and women might change~" Serafall giggled, then smirked mischievously.
"…And if it comes down to it, I wouldn't mind being his partner either, you know? ❤"
Her teasing words and flirtatious gestures left Sirzechs sighing as he rubbed his forehead. 'This is going to be a mess.'
His father chuckled awkwardly, beads of sweat forming on his forehead.
Honestly, this was all his fault for not officially approving Rias and Kazuki's engagement yet. Now, Serafall was taking full advantage of the situation.
'And if Mother found out about this… well!' Sirzechs wanted no part in that fallout.
For now, he could only pray that Rias would do whatever it took to properly secure Kazuki for herself.
'Good luck, Ri-tan.'

A week had passed since that chaotic and troublesome school visit.

After the event, Sirzechs and the others had a chance meeting with Issei's parents, and for some reason, they hit it off instantly. Before anyone could stop it, they had been invited to the Hyoudou residence.
Realizing the potential disaster that could unfold, Rias had no choice but to accompany them. However, when she returned home late at night, she looked completely drained, as if her very soul had been sucked out.
When Kazuki asked her what had happened, she whispered in a lifeless voice:
"I've never been more humiliated in my entire life…"
'What the hell did that damn Maou do?!'
It took a ridiculous amount of effort to revive the burned-out Rias. Kazuki had to soothe her, pamper her, and, in the end, fuck her brains out until she was satisfied.
Meanwhile, Serafall and Sona left together in a seemingly good mood. As they parted ways, Serafall flashed Kazuki a teasing smile.
"I'll be back soon, Kazu-kun~♪" she sang.
Sona, on the other hand, had been sneaking glances at Kazuki all night, her face flushed red. The sight of her bashful expression stuck with him.
