Chapter 3 - akame

Since they were children , the only friend akin really had was him . It wasnt until high school that akame got a bit distant from everyone and he was maybe unapproachable in a way but akin still found ways to spend time with him , afterall they were childhood friends .

Akame was always a cheerful person whom was fun to be around with , he had a lot of friends unlike akin .After felling unconscious he found himself awake on a bed which was not his forsure because it felt more comfortable and the place he was in smelled great, it was no hospital rather it was akame's elder sister's room .

"You dont seem the type to know when to get up from someone's bed " ana said with a taunting tone . He didnt know what to respond to such a statement but before he replied to her comment he remembered the reason why he was here in the first place.

"Where is he ana ? Dont tell me he actually- akin said in a loud tone with a distress clearly visible on his face .Yeah—with a slight sigh ana responded. She faced away and started looking at the window . The room had went so silent that both of them heard the screams of akame's mother downstairs, while akame's father tried to consult her . "A mother lost a child , a sister lost a brother and i lost my friend " he thought to himself . His eyes looked dead as he sat beside the bed staring down at the ground.

Akin couldn't control himself and he started tearing up and crying aloud , while seeing this ana couldn't handle herself to so she just left the room with a bang! as she closed the door .

I was so in shock that everything ana said went above my head all i wanted to know was why my friend did what he did, there must be a reason. there is no way the akame i knew would do such a thing .

He tried easing himself after he took a sip of water from the bottle beside him and rushed home after saying good bye to his parents and ana .

'It almost felt like a dream just like the ones i have every night and unlike the dreams , i have no option but to face my best friend's death . The very next day it was all over the news and everyone in school talked about it , the death of akame had not brought any sort of sorrow towards the school he belonged to or even the class he sat it in , they all spoke about it with interest showing sadness just because its rude not to ' akin said to himself as he sat in his literature lecture, staring at the window where he could see two freshmen chatting about the mysterious death of akame .

It had passed 3 weeks since akame had passed away , on the very first week , the funeral awaited akin like how a tortuer awaits his victim patiently, everyone wore black except the father for some odd reason .

As akin stared with his dark brown eyes which had dark circles upon them towards the grave where the mother was patting at and regretting the choices she made , he reflected and thought to himself that what if he had been there for him, even more .Akame's mother was known for her success and the luck she had brought to the hajme family , the family which previously suffered from financial issues were a now a fine prosperous investment , they all were so happy and perfect that almost no one understood how their only son could kill himself .

After the funeral ended ana walked towards akin. Just before that akin , who was walking towards the funeral's exit noticed a certain someone at the grave which had not been previously seen in the hajme family - 'that doesn't look like someone akame would personally know ' akin said with a cough - 'are u deaf ? I have called u so many times ' ana said with a heavy breathe.

'Im sorry but do u see the person , over there '

With a confused look but not so much care to it akin asked ana ' he doesn't belong to the hajme family right ? '

'Oh that must be one of my mother's colleagues from work , she knows everyone'

Ana responded casually , ' oh.. alright never mind ' akin responded still dazed about the person in the all black suite. they both walked towards ana's mother car who awaited them there patiently as she was chatting with one of her closest friends , it almost felt like she wss not affected by her son's death rather money meant more in this family then anything else.
