It could be said that nearly all of the continent's most extraordinary women had fallen into Qian Ran's grasp. Those who hadn't yet been caught were already in his "pond," waiting for him to reel them in.
A life of such indulgence and luxury—who would believe it? Was it really possible for one man to maintain peace and harmony among so many remarkable women, all while keeping their love unwavering?
Reality felt like a dream.
Even Qian Ran, with his system's assistance, sometimes found his life too surreal. He often wondered how he managed to inspire such devotion in these women, especially since his system wasn't the type that locked in affection once it was earned. Perhaps only they themselves truly knew.
Qian Ran couldn't help but marvel at his own fortune.
Perhaps as an unspoken apology for his exhaustion from the previous night, the women were already in the kitchen early in the morning, preparing a nutritious breakfast for him.
When Qian Ran finally woke up, Lan Susu and Lan Luoluo, wearing matching white skirts, nervously approached him. Even they could understand the difference between occasional indulgence and overwhelming excess.
They weren't naive. They knew how much pressure their large group had put on Qian Ran the previous night.
"What do you think?" Qian Ran muttered with a playful scowl. He hadn't seen the twin sisters in a long time and barely recognized them. They used to have distinct differences, but now they seemed almost identical to him.
"Is everything okay?" the twins asked, their gazes quickly scanning Qian Ran's body.
"You two? Not even close," Qian Ran replied, rolling his eyes as he gave each of their perky behinds a firm squeeze.
Seeing Qian Ran's carefree demeanor, the twins relaxed. It seemed Dong'er had been right—Qian Ran's body had grown even more formidable.
So many sisters together hadn't managed to tire him out completely. This…
After breakfast with the group, Qian Ran flopped down on the couch, utterly spent.
He was tempted not to leave.
While life in the Sun Moon Empire was luxurious in its own way, Shrek Academy felt like paradise.
For a fleeting moment, Qian Ran entertained the thought of packing them all into his spatial ring and taking them with him. But he quickly dismissed it—if he took them away, their cultivation would surely suffer.
Ever since learning that his system could help them achieve godhood, Qian Ran had resolved to elevate them all to divine status. He had no intention of following the path of the protagonist from Heavenly Jewel Change, who waited until his wives grew old and died before ascending.
Qian Ran was thinking long-term. He couldn't bear the thought of losing any of his wives.
That said, he couldn't mindlessly distribute divine positions to all of them. Even if he wanted to, there simply weren't enough to go around.
In Qian Ran's view, with enough resources, he could "level them up" over time. The system resembled a game interface—consistent effort would yield experience points. If comprehension was a bottleneck, treasures like the Enlightenment Divine Tea could bridge the gap.
But even with all these resources, they would still need to work hard.
After spending a week at Shrek Academy, Qian Ran finally left with Zhang Lexuan.
"Sigh…"
Qian Ran felt a pang of melancholy.
"Pfft. Can't bear to leave? Then don't," Zhang Lexuan teased, watching him with a smile. This man really is a first-class playboy.
"It's fine. Having Senior Sister with me is enough," Qian Ran said with a faint smile. In truth, he didn't plan to stay in the Sun Moon Empire much longer. He had already obtained nearly everything he wanted there.
"Hmph." Zhang Lexuan turned her head with a slight huff, swaying her slender waist as she walked ahead. Her curvaceous figure, wrapped in a white skirt, resembled a perfectly ripe peach.
Even after spending days around Zhu Lu, whose youthful figure seemed to defy human limits, Zhang Lexuan still exuded a captivating grace.
While Zhu Lu's youthful body already rivaled Zhang Lexuan's mature curves, it was clear Zhang Lexuan's figure had reached its peak. Meanwhile, Zhu Lu, still in her developmental years, had room to grow even more extraordinary.
It was almost certain that Zhu Lu would surpass even the legendary Zhu Zhuqing or her modern counterpart Zhu Ying.
Good genes, deliberate nurturing, and Qian Ran's physical "catalyst" had worked wonders.
But no matter how exaggerated Zhu Lu's physical development became, she couldn't match Zhang Lexuan's unique poise and elegance.
Returning to the Sun Moon Royal Soul Engineering Academy, Qian Ran's emergence from his dormitory was a relief to the imperial spies. Though he had publicly declared he was in closed-door training, they had been worried he might have slipped away.
Upon his return, Qian Ran immediately sought out Ye Xishui.
After learning about Zhang Lexuan's background, Ye Xishui fully supported Qian Ran's plan.
She didn't care if Zhang Lexuan was truly a descendant of Sun Moon royalty. Even if Zhang Lexuan were a commoner, Ye Xishui would still seize the opportunity. Strengthening ties with Qian Ran and the Holy Spirit Sect was a priority for her.
If Qian Ran had no demands, that would make her uneasy.
At the same time, Ye Xishui had plans to fully integrate the Undead Demiplane, creating a sanctuary for the Holy Spirit Sect's dark soul masters.
Dark soul masters thrived on harming others because it significantly sped up their cultivation. For some, it was the only way to enhance their strength. But with a fully functional demiplane designed for their needs, that might no longer be necessary.
The Undead Demiplane, abundant in resources conducive to their cultivation, was a paradise for dark soul masters. Training there was both safer and less destructive to the world outside.
Qian Ran hadn't thought this far ahead. So when Ye Xishui proposed the idea, he was taken aback.
Isn't this basically a replica of the Slaughter City?
The Slaughter City in Douluo Continent I was home to fugitives and outlaws, ruthless enough to rival dark soul masters. If the Holy Spirit Sect's members were all relocated to this demiplane, it could serve a similar purpose, benefitting Qian Ran, the sect, and the entire continent.
For dark soul masters, it was the ultimate training ground. After the Holy Spirit Sect relocated their headquarters to the demiplane, Qian Ran, as its master, could even "collect taxes" from them.
For the continent's ordinary citizens, the absence of dark soul masters would bring undeniable relief.
Ever since Qian Ran fused the undead mineral vein he obtained from the system into this world, the power of the undead creatures within the demiplane had surged dramatically. The very air there was saturated with energy that dark soul masters could directly absorb.
