Chapter 1 - The suspect.

The recent murder of Mr. Armstrong's first son has thrown the entire state into chaos. Cayden, a 22-year-old billionaire's son, was suddenly killed last night at a popular club in town. The suspect has already been arrested, and the police are investigating the case. Even though there is no clear evidence linking the suspect to the crime, he is still going to be questioned and thoroughly investigated.

The victim, who had returned to the state after studying in Europe for the past five years, was out last night to have some "fun" when the tragedy occurred. The suspect, a 19-year-old college student, was found lying beside the body at the crime scene. Police believe the young man might have had a hand in the murder.

Michael switched off the news and turned to his colleagues.

"Do you think he did it, Dash?"

"He was found at the scene beside the corpse, so it's likely him," Dash replied.

"What about you, Jo?" Michael asked.

"Well, he's the suspect, and like Dash said, he was found at the crime scene," Jo responded.

They were in charge of this case, which already seemed like it would be a very difficult and bizarre one. Jonathan, the head of their department and the lead investigator, had been informed about the tragic incident last night but he still couldn't believe it.

"But who would think that an innocent-looking boy like this could do something like this, let alone actually do it?" Michael asked.

"Don't let looks deceive you, Michael. Kids these days are poisonous," Dash said.

"Look at him young, cute, fragile, even feminine. Who would think he did such a thing?" Michael almost yelled.

"Hey, Jo, say something," he pleaded with a look in his eyes. As a member of the investigative department, Michael wouldn't have a chance to question the boy himself.

"I'll go look for more information connecting the victim and the suspect," Jo said, and left.

Even she couldn't believe it. The suspect looked far too young, almost as if he had been framed. Michael left the office and went straight back to the crime scene.
