Chapter 434 - Chapter 433: Refining the Energy, Cultivation Soaring

Tang Yue left far too suddenly, leaving behind only a lingering trace of fragrance on the bed.

Lu Jun recalled the madness of the past few days—older women were indeed gentle, proactive, passionate, unrestrained, her many techniques on full display, all kinds of outfits slipping on and off.

The two of them had left traces everywhere—on the ocean, the beach, the seaside villa.

"Gone already."

He wasn't disappointed, though. Once he returned home, Hangzhou was close enough that he could visit Sister Tang Yue anytime he wanted.

And he already had a fitting excuse. Lu Jun hadn't forgotten that he planned to take Nightfiend Substance for purification and give it to Tang Yue to strengthen her Shadow Element.

Besides, because he possessed the Divine Soul—similar to the Ancient King Armor—it contained vast amounts of accumulated knowledge from generations of Parthenon Goddesses, as well as numerous permanent-blessing abilities.

Among them was Goddess Seal Benediction, a true Goddess-level blessing. Its foundational potency began at triple strength and gradually declined, ultimately retaining one or two levels more amplification than even a High Priestess's blessing.

Lu Jun had been digesting it recently. When the time came, he would cast a Goddess Seal Benediction on Tang Yue—and naturally also on himself, Sister Lu Mei, and Ding Yumian.

Of course, he had asked Tang Yue in advance whether she wanted to awaken Blessing Magic as a Super-Tier element, so the Goddess Soul's catastrophic blessing power wouldn't be given to outsiders.

Unexpectedly, Tang Yue had fallen silent for a moment before gently refusing with a soft smile, saying Blessing Magic wasn't part of her cultivation plan.

Her cultivation was already at High Tier Perfection, about to step into Super Tier. Her elements were Fire, Shadow, and Summoning; she intended her fourth element to patch a weakness, and Blessing Magic—when practiced alone—was functionally useless.

But Lu Jun understood the real reason. Tang Yue didn't want to place her life in his hands.

She wanted their relationship to remain equal and independent—not one of tool and controller.

Lu Jun let out a quiet sigh. After pausing for a moment, he returned to his room to continue his secluded cultivation.

He had rented this beachfront villa not only to enjoy shameless passion with Sister Tang Yue, but also for tranquility—so he could refine the massive energy he possessed and break into Super Tier as soon as possible.

Once the villa finally grew quiet, Jun Yaojin emerged from some corner, her cheeks slightly flushed. She patted her deep, heaving chest and muttered, "Those shameless lovebirds!"

The two had treated her as if she were invisible these past few days, forcing her to hear things no one should hear. Even with her Western upbringing's tolerance, her face burned hot. Several times she'd almost suspected the "new boss" was doing it on purpose—hinting that she should join in.

Looking around at the completely "devastated" environment, Jun Yaojin shook her head and sighed.

"Finally some peace."

She turned and went back to her room, immersing herself in cultivation, trying her best to grind away at the massive barrier between High Tier and Super Tier.

It was pointless, of course. Breaking into Super Tier required the push of enormous, pure natural energy. Still, it would at least improve her chances when the opportunity finally arrived.

Boom—!

On the other side, Lu Jun's tall frame released a deep, muffled sound. Within his spiritual world, his Curse and Psychic star oceans were evolving and transforming every moment—expanding, widening, and overflowing with vast power that scoured his essence, energy, and spirit.

Both star oceans were visibly thickening, glowing ominously. The Ancient King Armor exuded sinister energy, its black-red radiance soaring skyward. The Divine Soul shone brilliantly, sacred blue light spreading across his spiritual domain. The two forces intertwined violently, constantly remodeling the realms that housed them.

Manifested on the outside, a rainbow-like radiance burst from the top of Lu Jun's head. Black and blue light twisted together, swirling upward into the night sky and spilling outward into a vast expanse of shimmering clouds—boiling, rolling, layered like fish scales.

At times, the Divine Soul gained the upper hand, its sacred blue glow making his features appear holy. At others, the Ancient King Armor surged forward, black-red fiendish mist transforming him into a demonic overlord.

The heavy pull between life and death repeated endlessly.

Soon, the backlash reached Lu Jun's body. His flesh gradually shriveled, as if drying into that of an elderly corpse—his life force faint but filled with unprecedented tenacity.

When midnight faded and daytime arrived, life and death switched places.

A vigorous surge of life erupted from his core like the rising sun. Boundless vitality swept through his limbs and bones. In an instant, he returned to normal—thick black hair, cold yet handsome features flushed with color, pale crystalline skin radiating an immortal glow.

One day of death, one day of rebirth.

Immediately after, Lu Jun endured the pain and persisted. For nine days and nine nights, he experienced nine total cycles of life-and-death transformation.

Boom!

On the ninth day, his entire body thundered with blood energy. It condensed into a magnificent pillar of shimmering gold-red that shot skyward—dense and solid like metal and jade. The overwhelming vitality and pressure swept across several kilometers.

Instantly, the mosquitoes, fish, and shrimp near the beach fell silent, trembling and hiding, not daring to move.

Even Jun Yaojin jolted awake, chest tight as if a giant stone pressed against her. Uneasy and alarmed, she stared toward Lu Jun's villa. The sky burned gold-red above it, the clouds warped into the silhouette of a colossal divine demon.

It truly felt like a great fiend had been born—an overwhelming spectacle.

"What kind of magic is the boss cultivating…? It's terrifying."

Inside the secret chamber, Lu Jun suddenly stood, his posture majestic. His body had reached flawless perfection—indestructible, like the crafting of a divine king—overflowing with vigorous life and immeasurable strength.

He had been stuck at the peak of Blood Qi Fourth Stage for a long time. But now, through the refinement of the Divine Soul and the Ancient King Armor, he had broken through two consecutive stages in one breath, ascending to Sixth Stage – Early Phase.

His physical toughness now matched that of a Commander-level Peak demon. Short of Super-Tier magic, ordinary High-Tier spells would no longer affect him at all.

And this was only the beginning. As Lu Jun's blood energy continued to soar, his spiritual world shifted again.

Two crisp crack sounds echoed—

Both of his star river shattered the Super-Tier barrier, roaring like a cosmic explosion.

Crash— the light curtains on the surface of the Star Rivers split open with countless tiny fissures. At last, they collapsed, and the boundless torrent poured out like a river turning into an ocean.

In the dark cosmos at the center, two vast Star cosmos emerged— one azure-blue, one black-red— each containing 2,401 embedded stars, glittering with scattered starlight.

Before the Curse Element Star Cosmos and the Psychic Element Star Cosmos could stabilize, the divine soul and the ancient king's armor within them trembled violently. They broke free from the constraints of the Super-tier Star Cosmos and transformed into two streaks of flowing light rushing toward the edge of the universe.

Bang! Bang!

The soul and armor froze in place as though time and space had solidified. From each overflowed the purest essence of Life and Death, spreading with chaotic mist and opening two sacred domains.

From a high-dimensional perspective, they looked like two tiny clusters of radiance, occupying little space— squeezed between the pressure of two Star Cosmos and four Star Rivers— yet surviving within the narrow gap.

But because of the presence of these two supreme treasures of incredibly high rank, there was a sense of immovable stability.

They were precisely Healing Stardust and Undead Stardust!

The former glowed with an elegant milky-white luster with a hint of emerald green, while the latter flowed with deathly pitch-black hues settled with a trace of ash.

The soul and armor, having just created the Stardusts, continuously infused energy into them, causing the two Stardust regions to expand further. They broke through two layers of light membranes in succession, swelling to their utmost limit— nearly turning into Star Clouds before finally stopping, still unsatisfied.

Healing and Undead, both at Basic-Tier Level Three! These two elements had only just awakened.

Lu Jun hadn't expected that he would awaken them on his own, but he had no time to care about such minor matters. The aura rising from his body suddenly soared again, even more vast, as infinite demonic energy erupted outward.

Seen from afar, it was like a rolling pillar of smoke suspended alone in the sky. When it dispersed, it resembled a vast ocean of energy flooding the heavens.

The heavens underwent a strange transformation. After the crimson glow faded, night and day replaced it, splitting this region cleanly into two halves.

One side fell into darkness and death— masses of plants withered, fish and shrimp rotted, the ground cracked open, turning lifeless and yellow. Countless ghostly shadows crisscrossed the air, accompanied by terrifying wails as hordes of spirits danced wildly.

The other side shone with bright sunlight. Spring winds revived all things; tender shoots sprouted from the grass; flowers bloomed in vibrant clusters. Above, a hazy dreamscape descended— illusory, mesmerizing— golden palaces and angelic beauties appearing in vision.
