The rainstorm poured down.
Raindrops hit the bricks and tiles with a crisp sound as two figures walked through the curtain of rain, one hand holding an oiled paper umbrella, and the other hugging a woman dressed in a Hundred Bird Skirt tightly in his arms.
Strolling through the heavy rain, the two weren't in a hurry to get home but wandered around instead, after all, this was "home," where he was born and had lived for over a decade, and he now had a strong urge to share it.
He was sharing his hometown with the person he liked.
