"Are you going to hunt the gods?"
Even though she was mentally prepared, Hewinia couldn't help but feel shocked when she truly heard these words from Bai Wei's mouth.
Hunting gods, such words from others would be taken as nonsense, but when Bai Wei said them, they sounded like stating a fact.
"Your mental capabilities are a bit too advanced." Bai Wei rubbed his nose. "When did I say I was going to start hunting the gods? I only said I wanted to let them know I've returned."
"But isn't that equivalent to declaring war?" Hewinia asked.
"Technically, it is."
"Just technically? What about in reality?"
"In reality, it's... Some things I haven't fully figured out," Bai Wei said. "For example, the current state of the gods. Don't you think their reaction is too slow? Clearly, even the Abyss Prison has been destroyed, Isaiah has been driven to the Final Gate, and their response besides Aine Hagar is just this inexplicable well."
As Bai Wei spoke, he patted the well wall.
