Inside the prison, Edwin and Hewinia continued to delve deeper.
With the prior warning of the sealed magic stone golem, neither dared to use Magic Power lightly. The only source of light was the dim torch in Edwin's hand, making the atmosphere inside the prison very oppressive, with only the sound of their heavy breathing and footsteps audible between them.
"What are you thinking about?" Edwin finally broke the silence first.
Hewinia glanced at Edwin and said blandly, "I'm wondering if it's too late to turn back now."
"Haha, you really like to joke."
Hewinia said nothing.
Edwin immediately grew nervous: "You really don't want to turn back, do you? Come on, we've already come this far."
"That kind of talk doesn't apply to this situation." Hewinia said, "Right now, I can't even use Magic. Continuing downward is just sending ourselves to death."
