"You're not the one who should never have been brought back," Isaiah said. "It's the ring finger. If she hadn't died, that would have been real trouble."
"So that's the point?"
Isaiah looked down at Rocky: "I know what you're trying to say, and I apologize to my students."
"An apology is enough, huh."
"Of course not," Isaiah said, "that's why I'll go to the end."
"You're still continuing despite all this?"
"Because it's already like this, turning back is even more impossible."
Rocky once again showed a mocking smile: "Heh, suit yourself."
Isaiah looked at Rocky: "You don't intend to stop me? You should be able to see that I'm very weak now, right? Aren't you going to try to fight me one more time?"
"It's meaningless now," Rocky murmured. "Thanks to you, I already know what death feels like. Now I just want to live. The rest, whatever."
Just want to live.
Rocky had said this before, but this time it carried a completely different feeling.
