"Papa~," Mimi called out, dodging a tendril of dark miasma slithering across the castle wall.
"What now, Mimi!?" King Lioness growled, his sword cleaving through a shadow beast as he shielded King Veldrac's flank. "Can't you see we're busy here!?"
"Young Armand wants permission to use his full power to clear out the miasma faster~," she chirped, tail swaying as if this were just a casual stroll.
King Lioness blinked.
"That's it? Garius already sent a letter about that in advance," he grunted, punching a lunging creature with his gauntlet and crushing it into smoke.
"Just go tell him I gave the green light!" he barked.
"Tell him I, King Lioness, grant him full authority to use everything he's got!"
"Nya~ okay, Papa~," Mimi sang, skipping off with deadly grace.
She leapt off a crumbling ledge, twisting mid-air to kick a dark mana beast square in the jaw. It evaporated with a puff of smoke as she landed gracefully, casually slicing through another with her claws.
