He slowly closed his raised hand into a fist.
"Fire."
A chorus of loud roars erupted all at once, shaking the ground and sending waves of compressed air outward. The missiles shot up into the sky, each one leaving behind a brilliant, blue mana trail that looked like furious comets ripping through the darkness toward Edmund's distant camp.
Javier calmly lowered his hand, watching quietly as the bright trails disappeared beyond the horizon.
Then he raised his palm again, his eyes shining sharply.
"Deploy transport units."
The air shimmered and rippled as powerful mana surged outward. Twenty large, sleek transport drones appeared smoothly in mid-air, each silently hovering just above the ground. Their hulls had a smooth, dark metallic appearance, with faint rune-patterned armor pulsing with mana. Wide reinforced ramps slid open, revealing spacious interiors built for quickly deploying troops to any battlefield.
