The General of the Turka Army was laughing out loud, thoroughly enjoying himself in a private room draped in velvet and silk. Three women attended to him—one sat on his lap, giggling as he whispered crude promises into her ear, while the other two flanked him, leaning into his touch as he groped their breasts and squeezed their butt.
He slammed a heavy gold coin onto the low table, making the nearby platters rattle.
"Oi! Bring us more food and wine!" he bellowed toward the curtained entrance. A servant bowed quickly and scurried away.
"My little doves~ Tonight, we celebrate! More wine! More food!"
One of the women poured more wine into his cup. "General~ Here, your sweet drink~" The girl lifted the cup and sipped from it, letting a trickle spill down her chin.
