Chapter 35 (Final chapter) - Gods will be watching.

—

-Third Person Pov-

Lucerion walked calmly toward his destination.

Alongside him stood his three new administrators, Michael from Heaven, Azazel from the Fallen, and Sirzechs from the Devils.

If someone were to paint them right now, it could be an ancient painting of priceless value.

A God, an angel, a fallen one, and the devil.

"It's strange seeing you nervous." Lucerion said, turning his neck toward Azazel.

Azazel smiled as he closed his eyes. "Well…there are people in there I haven't seen in a long time…"

"A woman?"

"Women in plural." Azazel specified, looking somewhat nervous.

Michael just sighed, it was well known that his brother had a... somewhat wild past, in every aspect.

"Pretty bold to go chasing divine skirts—things tend to end badly when divinity is in the mix." Lucerion said it with a touch of humor.

The crazy things some goddesses do—if you're a mere mortal and you breathe the wrong way, you're screwed, you get cursed because they took it as an offense.

"You are right." Azazel nodded. "This is the perfect moment to leave these things to the three of you." He said, turning around with the intention of leaving and never coming back.

Lucerion stopped putting a hand on his shoulder.

"Wait, how bad can it be?"

"Aphodite" Azazel said with a serious face.

"Oh."

"Hera."

"...Are you for real? two women of the same pantheon? Did you have a death wish when you were young?"

"S-sekhmet." The fallen said with some difficulty the name of the goddess of vengeance.

"You are cooked." Lucerion said.

Azazel had a somber look as he recalled the past.

'Azazel was a furry in his youth huh, freaky bastard hehe.' Lucerion laughed to himself.

"Just relax—you're with me. I'm not going to let them kill you... even if the goddesses are in their right."

"Kiddo now you can be my infamous second son." Azazel let out a breath more calmly, extending my arms.

"Vali being the first one huh? pass. That is a burden for Vali alone, and I don't intend to share it." He smiled.

All of them stopped at the decorated door in front of them.

"Here we are." said Sirzechs.

"Mmmh…"

It was the building where the divine assembly was going to take place.

It featured a style that combined modern and traditional architecture.

The carving on the door was beautiful, it featured the leaders of the great pantheons.

Indra, Yahweh, The Jade Emperor, Ra, Amaterasu, Jade Emperor, Odin and Zeus.

Lucerion already can see some gods with fragile egos making problems because they are not in the door of the assembly.

"Should they change it?" Azazel asked, looking at Yahweh carving in the door.

"No, It's fine, it's just a door after all." Lucerion said, turning his attention to the vast multitude of gods gathered behind those double doors.

They weren't hiding their presence, so the group could feel the others fixing their gazes on the door. Waiting for them.

"I thought we were on time—why is everyone already inside?" He asked Michael.

"We are. It seems like they gave us the wrong time on purpose, or everyone decided to come early." The angel concluded.

"Heh."

The two days passed in a flash, and now they are here to present themself "properly" with the other gods and their respective pantheons.

The four of them already were expecting some powerplay from the other pantheon, they can feel the gazes nailed to the door.

It was not rare, obviously they wanted to test Lucerion.

It's not as if Lucerion would go mad and attack so many gods gathered in one place over something so small and trivial, right?

…Right?

"Game face." Lucerion pushed the big doors with fanfare making a lot of noise.

As soon the doors opened. Many of the high tier gods put pressure not on his three administrators but on Lucerion solely.

But Lucerion naturally, he did not let himself be intimidated.

Using his own pressure as he keeps walking calmly.

Like Moses parting the Red Sea, Lucerion effortlessly parted the pressure exerted by all the gods using his own might.

'If only I had Conqueror's Haki...*sigh*'

The gods seeing this they quickly dropped the whole thing as if it never happened. Zeus, Odin, Lugh between the more powerful of the bunch.

The only one who kept his eyes on Lucerion as he walked to his seat was Shiva, God of Destruction.

Shiva was accompanied by Sun Wukong.

'Damn monkey.' Lucerion thought with disgust.

The worst depiction of Sun Wukong in all of fiction, now that Indra died of course the monkey tattle to Shiva.

It didn't matter, because Lucerion had no intention of keeping Indra's murder a secret. He knew the monkey would talk sooner or later.

As Lucerion walked, he kept his gaze fixed on Shiva. As the god of destruction was doing the same with a cheeky smile.

Shiva looked young—like a teenager.

Amusingly, Lucerion also had a youthful juvenile appearance, he was eighteen, after all.

Lucerion quickly turned his attention to the new situation unfolding around him.

'What. Ah…right.'

All the lesser gods associated with the sun, the stars, and the moon were kneeling in his direction.

They were paying their absolute respect to him who owns their divinity.

Murmurs and gasps of surprise erupted when they saw Ra kneel—one of the strongest and most ancient among them.

Ra was the god of the sun after all. It held great significance for him. He was even able to foresee the birth of the King of the Stars and his constellations.

Not wanting to leave Ra alone in this, Anubis also knelt beside him; it would have looked bad for only Ra to kneel while Anubis remained seated. Anubis didn't want to do it, but failing to do so would have sparked troublesome speculation—fucking politics.

The Egyptian pantheon had to appear united, through good times and bad.

Kneeling was the least troublesome thing to do.

Unlike the Egyptian pantheon who understands the game.

Amaterasu was stopped by Susano when she tried to kneel, he shook his head slightly.

The two Shinto gods exchanged glances as if they were having a silent argument of what to do.

In the end Amaterasu did not bow.

Apollo looked toward Zeus, seeking permission to pay his respects. It was well known that Zeus kept a tight rein on his Olympian gods.

"No." Zeus said, his tone curt and blunt. He didn't even bother to lower his voice.

One of his own would never pay respects to a god of the Abrahamic pantheon. Zeus clearly shows his eternal grudge against Yahweh, even when He is no longer here.

Finally, Lucerion arrived at the area designated for the Abrahamic pantheon, situated well ahead of the assembly, near the podium. It was a spacious area themed around the pantheon. He did not sit in Yahweh's vacant seat, out of respect for his predecessor.

Instead, he simply snapped his fingers and warped a normal seat for himself.

A lot of gods widened their eyes seeing this. Shiva smiled widened as he watched Lucerion.

Lucerion was the first to sit down. Michael, Azazel, and Sirzechs followed him.

The assembly was in absolute silence.

"Lucerion. King of Stars. God of Cosmos. Chief god of the Abrahamic pantheon—apparently we were the last ones to arrive, the assembly can begin now." Lucerion said to the person on the podium but for everyone to hear.

The person on the podium was wearing a suit and appeared to be the speaker designated to open the assembly and introduce the topics designated for it.

"Indeed, Thanks for coming, Lord Lucerion." The man adjusted his glasses as he began the introductory topics.

The topics were boring—almost all the meetings were, it was nothing but political maneuvering.

Sometimes, at past assemblies, interesting things would happen due to the bad blood between gods, but naturally, the heads of the pantheons would coordinate and simply not bring along their troublesome deities.

This was the boring part of being a god.

Of course, there were gods who avoided this like the plague. This is the first time in 5,000 years that Shiva himself has attended one.

Lucerion looked at Shiva, and he was asleep like a baby.

He glances to his side at Azazel, he, too, is leaning back on his seat and sleeping.

The god of cosmos shook his head in amusement.

As time went by, some gods would come up to speak and explain a specific topic under discussion, while others came to offer explanations regarding their pantheon situation.

Lucerion rubbed his temples. It was his first time there, and his last.

The divine geopolitics were ass. checked.

Next time, he's going to do what all the gods do…send a subordinate to these sleep-inducing assemblies. Jesus…they were a sleeping pill.

Not all gods shared his views it seems, others were eager to play politics.

Snakes, or people who do it for the love of the "game"

To each their own.

Curiously, many gods came. Too many.

'I suppose that when we confirmed our presence... they took the opportunity to come and see.'

"And for the last topic of the list…The Abrahamic Pantheon." The speaker said the last topic.

Everyone leaned on their seats with interest. Shiva woke up immediately. Wide awake, as if I had never been asleep.

Sirzechs elbowed Azazel to wake up.

"It is well known that the Abrahamic Pantheon has been dealing with... peculiar problems in these past three months, we would like to ask respectfully to the chief god to step forward with their followers and explain the situation if he wishes." The speaker in the suit asked politely to Lucerion, nodding his head.

Lucerion internally rolled his eyes, he could see what others wanted. An explanation of this crazy and inexplicable situation.

"Sure, I don't mind." Lucerion said with a wide smile as he rose from his seat and walked to the podium. The other three followed him. They notice it smile.

'Ah…he is about to do something.' All three said to themselves—and were absolutely right.

The speaker stepped aside, leaving the entire space to Lucerion and his people.

Lucerion, standing right behind the Podium, smiled at all the gods, the incredibly beautiful crown adorned his head and his usual golden armor that accompanied him throughout the

entire journey, starting from the very first ten gacha pulls.

'Hehe, time to have a bit of fun.'

"Well, first and foremost, let me introduce myself again. I am Lucerion—King of the Stars, God of the Cosmos, you may use either of those two titles if you want. I am the new god of the Abrahamic pantheon. Greetings to everyone present." He said smoothly.

"I am going to answer questions that I like, if your question is too troublesome, personal or downright disrespectful I will ignore you, don't escalate the situation, believe me, you don't want that." The cold tone sent a shiver to those present "So…3 questions for pantheon no more no less, who first?" Lucerion said with a cheeky smile.

Zeus frowned and many other gods with strong egos did that too.

The more carefree gods laughed hard, Shiva being one of the loudest.

Many of the gods present noticed this and began building a psychological profile of Lucerion, he can be serious when the situation calls for it, but he also has a sense of humor.

'Damnable cheeky brat. It's always the cursed abrahamic pantheon.' Zeus said, closing his eyes.

After a few seconds of silence…

Zeus was the first to press the button, sending a small amount of magic into it, the button made a sound and activated a red light.

"The Olympians take the first step huh, go on Zeus." Lucerion said lightly pointing at the place where Zeus was sitting along with his fellow gods.

Zeus veins popped in his forehead being called in an informal way by this brat.

"Lord Zeus." Zeus corrected. He held back the "brat" remark he was about to make, because it wouldn't have been wise to insult someone stronger.

"Sure."

Zeus' veins this time popped in his neck at the casual remark.

Many gods seeing this were holding their laughs or putting something to cover their faces, the grudge that Zeus had with that pantheon was well known.

"Why didn't Yahweh come too?" Zeus chose his question carefully. Making all the people go silent to give their full attention.

It was well known that Yahweh had died, yet he had recently seen a video of Him—very much alive—crowning Lucerion on the damnable Devilnet.

Zeus cortisol spiked to the roof seeing his "rival" alive and well.

"Because he is dead, what everyone sees is a part of his consciousness that was trapped in the True Longinus." Lucerion signaled Michael who was holding the spear. "With a trick of mind I was able to bring his consciousness back for a time, ergo the video of the coronation." He finished the simple explanation.

Zeus' eyes widened a bit.

Of course everyone knows about the sacred gears. Yahweh masterpieces that everyone wanted to have as useful tools.

Shiva stared at the spear. Knowing full well the legendary weapon was in Indra roster and now is back in the abrahamic pantheon.

Almost everyone knew what had happened behind the scenes, it wasn't hard to figure out that Lucerion had wiped out the Khaos Brigade—after all, several gods and individuals of interest had gone missing because of it.

Not counting the abilities some gods have up their sleeves.

"Next question."

Shiva pushed the bottom this time, everyone got quiet seeing the red light shining in his seat.

For the first time the former strongest was addressing the strongest.

"Why did you kill Indra?" Shiva asked with absolute calm and his usual carefree smile.

Murmurs and gasps rippled through the assembly, several of the gods frowned. They had heard the rumors, but the idea that a god as ancient and powerful as themselves had died seemed like a bad joke played by deities who did not get along.

"Because he wanted to kill me. Simple as that. First he sent the hero faction, a group that was led by Cao Cao, his servant, former wielder of the True Longinus. Naturally I killed the whole group then Indra came." Pacing back and forth while explaining, he stopped. "Then we fought, and I won."

"Im sure the monkey can confirm my words." He signaled Sun Wukong as everyone in the assembly turned their necks to the monkey.

The old monkey sighed wearily.

As part of Indra's vanguard, he watched him march off in search of Samuel Lancaster, that was the last time he saw him alive.

"Huh…Sooner or later, that idiot was going to fall because of his own pride." Shiva said to Wukong.

"And the death of Indra is what caused you to ascend to divinity?" Shiva pressed the button again with a knowing smile as he glanced at the god of cosmos.

Murmurs erupted in the room again.

"Indeed." He confirmed the incident.

Many of the gods were theorizing in their minds about what had happened.

"Hah! You are quite unique Lucerion…what an interesting young man indeed…" Shiva said calmly while stroking his chin with one hand. "No more questions from my pantheon." The god of destruction finished.

Lucerion narrowed his eyes.

It struck him as a bit odd that the God of Destruction was so calm, then again, Shiva was known for having a carefree attitude—but to that extent?

The questions continued. Several people asked about the whereabouts of the Khaos Brigade members' bodies. Lucerion answered and revealed their location, but while he was speaking, Odin interrupted his explanation by striking the ground with his staff and activating the button without even touching it.

"Where is Loki?" Odin said, fixing his magic eye on Lucerion.

"Dead. He was a member of the Khaos Brigade as you probably know." Lucerion shook his head. "It's kind of funny that he was there—supposedly, after the Fenrir fiasco, he should have been imprisoned, but I guess he magically escaped." He jabbed at Odin's lack of security.

Many people shook their heads at the information. It looked bad when the head of a pantheon couldn't control one of his gods. It was even worse when he was the All-Father.

"Stupid brat…" Odin said with closed eyes remembering Loki. Although many interpreted the insult directed at Lucerion.

Without saying another word, Odin rose from his seat, turned around, and left.

He was very displeased about Loki's death. He was killed for good reason, yet the death of the God of Lies will still have consequences for the All-Father and the entire Norse pantheon.

Zeus nodded to Apollo giving his permission as the god of the sun pressed the button next.

"Greeting Lord Lucerion, Im Apollo God of the Sun, my question is about what are your plans regarding free reign for all of the gods whose divinity comes from the stars?" Apollo said calmly.

Ra shook his head in disapproval hearing a fellow god of the sun asking it.

It was a good question, but it was a trick question.

Lucerion's smile curved upward upon hearing this question.

"Why are you assuming I will give free reign to the divinity? Cut it into pieces so that every god gets their share—are you out of your mind?"

"I beg your pardon?" Apollo blinked.

"I own the divinity of the stars, the entire thing. End of the discussion." Lucerion said with no-nonsense.

Apollo stared in disbelief but quickly entered with an argument again.

"There are various gods who need it to carry out their tasks, and then there are ancient ones like me—do we now have to ask for permission every time we want to use our divinity? Permission from you God of the Cosmos?" Apollo said with some venom in his tone.

The whole group of Olympians nodded at the words of his fellow god.

Tension spiked in the room as silence reigned, awaiting Lucerion's response.

"I own the stars, that's why I'm their king and I sit on the throne of stars. That's why I command the constellations. That's how it is from now on, you ask for permission, or you don't use the dominion of the stars at all." Lucerion said coldly, his voice calm but everyone heard it, his golden light eyes becoming a black cosmos.

Apollo being gazed by such a cosmic creature flinched violently.

But he quickly regained his composure, he was an ancient god after all.

"I don't think that is the right idea, Lord Lucerion." Apollo said calmer, approaching it from a different angle. "It's true that the stars are yours, but that decision is going to generate dislike among-"

"Give it back then."

"I-i don't understand what you mean-" Apollo said while sweat ran down his forehead.

"If you don't like this I will gladly take away your divinity, depowering you, it's my domain after all."

Apollo widened his eyes in terror imagining living a life like a mortal.

"N-no, sorry for asking Lord Lucerion, please don't mind my words." Apollo said with a deep nod from where he was sitting.

"Sure. Next question." Lucerion switched back to normal. Addressing the quiet assembly.

Zeus grinned his teeth together. Jaw clenching with rage.

A humiliation for one of his own was, indirectly, a humiliation for him as well.

It was true that Apollo tried to get too clever and overstepped, but Zeus didn't care.

Lucerion was a god of the Abrahamic pantheon, losing to him was unforgivable for an Olympian.

This whole situation revived bitter memories in Zeus' mind, when the whole grudge originated.

Zeus had conspired with Lucifer to kill Jesus, Yahweh's chosen one at the time.

Simply because Yahweh was becoming very popular among mortals thanks to Jesus, Christianity was rapidly devouring the faith of the Olympians.

Zeus mistakenly thought that by removing Jesus from the board, Christianity would fall apart, as a solitary god, Yahweh wouldn't be able to handle the fallout—especially not with his son Lucifer making things difficult.

The day arrived. Lucifer, possessing Judas, went to the Romans—specifically to Pontius Pilate, a faithful follower of the Roman faith and of Jupiter (also known as Zeus).

A clever trick to gain more faith for more mortals, faith is a useful tool. It's better to have it, "gaining a buff" and be venerated than to be a forgotten god.

The day came, Pontius crucified Jesus…he died…and the whole plan went to hell.

He became the most important legendary martyr in all of history.

In years, its explosive popularity erased the Greek faith, erased the Roman faith.

For Zeus, it is an indelible disgrace, the stain remains to this day—literally.

Modern-day Greece and Rome have Christianity as their religion.

He remembers how he slowly slipped into irrelevance, until he—he and his fellow gods—became forgotten gods.

The Staff of Hermes is rarely seen in hospitals nowadays, and that's all there is to it.

It irked him to the core so much that, even after his death, the majority of the world continues to pay homage to Yahweh and his pantheon.

And just when those madmen from the Khaos Brigade were finally on the verge of destroying the Abrahamic Pantheon once for all.

Then Lucerion came.

'It's always this cursed pantheon…' Zeus looked at Lucerion who was answering other gods their pointless questions.

The god of thunder knew he got one last question, his hand next to the button.

'I need him to owe me one…' Zeus said in his mind already scheming a troublesome question.

He already knew that Lucerion had killed Hades and his brood of dark gods, if he could use that against him... well, either he refused and looked bad in front of everyone, or he accepted and owed him a favor. Having the strongest person owe you a favor—that was an interesting position to be in, and one he intended to exploit effectively.

He didn't give a damn about Hades, Nyx, or the other imbecile.

The pink-haired woman with the mischievous gaze sitting next to Zeus watched the gears turning in the god of thunder's mind—his hand hovering near the button, ready to ask.

Without giving it much thought, Aphrodite pressed the button.

"Yes, last question for the olympians." Lucerion said.

Zeus turned his neck faster than anything with a betrayed expression to Aphrodite.

"Hello~Im Aphrodite, My question is if you have a woman Lucerion? If not, what about me?" Aphrodite ignores everything and asks two things, interlacing her fingers beneath her chin with a flirtatious smile.

(Image)

A loud boo echoed around in the assembly.

Apollo and Zeus facepalmed their faces.

It was hard to get ahead as Pantheon when you had an idiot sabotaging you or rowing in the opposite direction.

Ares with a deadpanned expression already well aware of the legendary whore status his "lover" has.

'Poor Hefesto' Everyone in the assembly thinked that.

"Next question please." Lucerion with a smile ignored her and addressed the rest.

Everyone laughed at that, making the most beautiful goddess (self proclaimed) pout.

'BEGONE THOT.' Lucerion said in his mind.

Zeus glared at Aphrodite with a murdering gaze. The goddess was sitting like nothing happened, not bothering at all messing up with the last question of Zeus.

"Did you have anything to say in your defense?" Zeus said, making her flinch.

"Eh!...tehee~ sorry, im just a girl." She said putting dog eyes. "And besides you were talking too long…"

Zeus leaned back in his seat, letting out a long, weary sigh, he no longer had the energy to get angry.

When they got home, he was going to shove a lightning bolt down her throat.

Lucerion continued to answer the occasional question, for the most part, the gods who pressed the button to speak simply introduced themselves, as they did not wish to be intrusive with inappropriate questions—and besides, they already had a general idea of what had happened.

Anubis pressed the button.

"Anubis. Greetings God of Cosmos, What is the current situation with your pantheon, if it's okay to ask?" Anubis said, glancing at Sirzechs and the rest.

It was rare to see an angel, a fallen angel, and a devil together with a god.

A good question—a tactic to get a superficial idea of how the pantheon was faring.

"Total unification under my rule. My three administrators do a good job managing the three factions. Sure, I help out here and there…." Lucerion left the last part ambiguous.

"For example?" Anubis pressed the button again. Probing him.

"I don't mind telling you." He shrugged. "After wiping out the Khaos Brigade, I annihilated all the demons from my pantheon, then to top it all off, I killed Trihexa."

The world stopped.

The peaceful atmosphere fell silent in an instant at what the young god said.

After a couple of seconds of silence.

"You are lying. It is beneath a god to lie so brazenly." Zeus said with a scoff from his seat not caring about anything anymore.

Lucerion rolled his eyes. raising his hand high, his palm pointing toward the ceiling.

Then, he pulls Trihexa's gigantic head out of his inventory.

"Is that enough proof for you?" He asked Zeus with a smug smile.

Zeus 's jaw dropped.

Forget about Zeus, Everyone's jaw dropped.

They could still feel the dark malice emanating from the beast's head.

The gods who held dominion over light felt a shiver run down their spines upon seeing that accursed head.

Michael let out a sight, Lucerion sometimes was a bit too much.

"I hope you take this as good news, Trihexa is history—no need to thank me." Lucerion said with an innocent smile while returning the beast's head to his inventory.

"..." Everyone.

"HAHAHA!" Shiva started to laugh his ass off before the unpredictability known as Lucerion.

The God of Destruction knew that the most fun and interesting things in life were found in those who were wild cards.

As he laughed he looked at the monkey. Sun Wukong once was a wild card, but when he grew old, he fell from grace.

A few minutes later The 967th divine assembly concluded, many left...with a lot to consider and think about.

Lucerion stayed for a while talking with some of the gods, Ra finished speaking with Lucerion and made way for Shiva.

The sun god nodded to Shiva, and Shiva nodded back.

"Well... it's a pleasure to finally have you right in front of me." Shiva said with a smile.

"Indeed?"

"Yes."

"To be honest with you, I thought you'd be angrier that I killed Indra."

Shiva shrugged. "As much as I hate to admit it, I would have killed him myself if he had gone ahead with his plans, it was bound to happen sooner or later. That's just how Indra is, after all."

"Makes sense." Lucerion nodded.

"Indra's people are talking about war against the god of the cosmos." Shiva said slowly.

"I don't recommend it." Lucerion shakes his head. "If they attack me or members of my pantheon, I will subject them to a fate worse than death."

"Even dead, that damned Indra makes me work... troublesome bastard." Shiva sighed. "It doesn't matter, if I say there is no war, then there isn't one."

"Perfect then." Lucerion said.

"And what will happen in the future, Lucerion? Should the gods fear if the God of the Cosmos seeks to expand across the entire world?" Shiva said with a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Should we prepare for a worldwide religious unification and worship only you? even the gods?" Shiva probed.

"Fuck no." Lucerion scowled.

"Haha." Shiva laughed, understanding Lucerion a bit.

"The universe demands diversity after all. Even regarding religion, I would never force them to worship me, they are free to pray to whatever god they choose... and personally, I don't need them to, either."

"It is like that huh…" Shiva said slowly going to his thoughts.

""Only fools strive to control everyone."" Lucerion and Shiva said at the same time.

"Hahaha."

"Heh."

"I'm happy and the way you are puts me at ease." Shiva nodded.

"Okay?"

"Well Lucerion it was nice to meet you…i hope we meet again."

"Wait. I need to tell the monkey something. Yeah you fucking bastard being all quiet behind Shiva." Lucerion said to Sun Wukong.

"Y-yes?" Sun Wukong stutter.

"I know you were with Indra and you didn't move your ass an inch to stop him…Harambe would be greatly disappointed in you." He pointed to the monkey.

The tense conversation was cut short at the bullshit Lucerion was saying.

"Who?" Azazel asked.

"Doesn't matter right now. You wretched ape, if I see you in the territories of the Abrahamic pantheon, I will skin you alive while shoving your staff up your ass."

"Right…sorry kid. My hands were tied, and relax, I will not go there ever." Sun Wukong excused himself as he went first.

Shiva chuckled. "You are funny, see you." Grimacing, the God of Destruction went after the monkey.

"Fianally it's over." Michael said.

"Damn right, I'm never coming again." Azazel touched his own stiff shoulders.

"Never again." Sirzechs said, shaking his head.

"Ditto." Lucerion nodded, easily agreeing.

After that, each administrator said goodbye and returned to their post. Lucerion teleported away last.

—

-Throne of Stars -

Seated on his throne, Lucerion was thinking... At last, it was all over.

"I killed all the villains and saved the Pantheon, but what's next?"

"Happy ever after?" Leo said next to the throne.

"Maybe? Nah, I'm not naive, but it looks like peace is going to reign for a loooong time."

Lucerion began to think about why he had come to this world, and a brilliant golden idea struck him.

The essence of gacha gave it a second chance. It was a great adventure... but now the journey is over.

And what if he does the same thing with other people?

Helping them by giving them a second chance, just as he received one.

Obviously, he's going to handpick them.

"My mighty chosen ones…"

Like minded individuals similar to him…or not.

"For those with the superior mindset…"

Around various worlds, around the entire multiverse.

"I know what I'm going to do."

He rose from the throne and opened a portal, stepping inside, within lay an empty dimension he had created in the blink of an eye.

*Snap*

He snapped my fingers, and the world burst into color. A beautiful temple took shape—grand pillars of stone and marble.

Inside the temple lay what was important, several thrones were forming out of nothing.

They had different colors, different materials. Different themes.

Taking inspiration from the Firelink Shrine in Dark Souls III, he placed a great eternal fire in the circular center; surrounding it stood the thrones.

He extended his hands, sending hundreds of stars to different universes to serve as his eyes and ears—searching for his champions, his mighty chosen ones.

"I send you all, across space and time to fulfill a purpose, and when the chosen ones are ready. You will let me know. I will give them a chance."

He closed his eyes and concentrated, gazing into the future with the help of the stars.

"I suppose you're going to be the first one." Lucerion gazed at the empty blood-red throne.

"But there are still a few years left before it happens, in the meantime, I'll wait." The God of Cosmos said with a smile.

"I will be watching. All of us."

Afterwards, he left the dimension as he headed to another place.

—

- Kuoh City -

Lucerion walked calmly through the city in his "normal human form."

He walked past the bench where he had woken up and where it all began, he sat down again in jest, but two minutes later he got up and continued walking.

I was looking forward to seeing Xenovia, it was the day I was going to tell her we were going on vacation.

He kept walking, glancing back at the school in the distance—the one he hadn't finished yet; he still had a year to go.

He debated whether or not to do it, but in the end, he decided he would.

It was one of the few things he had to do as a human before it ended forever.

Finally, he saw his house... who would have thought that the strongest god lives here?

He opened the door calmly, and when he entered the living room, Xenovia was there.

She was holding a bowl of popcorn.

"Just in time Sam." She smiled at him, putting the bowl on the table.

"Told you I will."

Xenovia stepped closer and gave him a kiss, then leaned against his shoulder.

(Image)

"The movie is about to start…"

"Let 's sit then."

The two of them sat on the couch. His whole demeanor relaxed.

'Finally the day ended.'

"Give me a lap pillow Xen." He says putting his head in her tights.

As he lay down, Xenovia stroked his hair.

"How was the training with Gemini?"

"Good, she is…strong."

"You will need it." He said with a smug smile as Xenovia pulled his hair a bit.

"Ha-ha."

After some seconds she asked.

"Did you finish everything?"

"Yeah…"

"Everything?"

"Yes. Finally we will have peace for a long time."

"Satisfied with how it ended?" Xenovia tilted her head.

"Yep, like Frankie said I did it my way ♪ ♫" He joked.

Xenovia chuckled.

"Xen… let's go on a vacation."

"Sure, but where?"

Samuel let out a sigh, it was finally time to tell her the truth.

He was finally going to share with Xenovia the truth about all the powers he had hidden for so long.

With a smile on his face he was ready.

Final Author notes:

Yeah, there it goes the final chapter, obvious hint for the next fic there in the chapter.

Feels good being the 5% of authors that finish their fanfics haha.

I procrastinated in delivering this chap because a part of me didn't want it to end.

I realize I could have finished this sooner, but I wanted to add more content and round the number off—35 is fine.

Anyway, let me do a short introduction.

Hi im Zirxem…author of this fic. I have always used this nickname for almost everything on the internet since…quite a lot of years.

Well, that's all you need to know about me, lol... Let's move on to the next point.

Guys...it's been quite a journey for me.

I took a leap of faith and started creating content without knowing absolutely anything about writing, haha.

I had a vague idea, of course—after all, I've been reading fanfics since 2017.

Yeah i love this fanfic, it's rough on the edges, my next one will be better in every aspect but i love it regardless.

This version will remain free on this page as long the page is up. I invite you to re-read it if you wish, now that the fanfic has ended I think it is a good time.

Well, as a veteran reader and an "author", do I recommend that people write fanfic these days? Absolutely, yes.

I think fanfiction is going to become more popular from now on. After all, mainstream content is currently 90% shitty goyslop, so people will look for alternatives and gravitate toward well-known fanfic sites—so yeah, I think so.

If you're a veteran reader with over 2,000+ fanfics under your belt, I highly recommend getting started, you already know how things work on this site—you know what people want to read and what they don't.

Take it easy and don't expect too much.

Well, let's talk a bit about the fanfic...I did some things right, some things wrong, but the final verdict is that it didn't turn out as badly as I thought…hehe.

This part is for anyone wanting to get started in fanfics to learn from my mistakes, basically, I'm sharing what I've learned. If you are interested, here goes.

As you probably already know, the first nine chapters are a rough read, they had grammatical errors and were a bit of a mess (in a bad way) I was quite high because the story suddenly gained popularity.

If you're going to start a fanfic for the first time...be careful and choose a simple low-tier world.

I chose High School DxD—a high-tier world—combined with a gacha cheat...and honestly, I bit off more than I could chew. And that was even without it being a multiverse story or having the gacha summon characters.

There are so many characters; DxD has two power systems: Magic and Senjutsu.

Now factor the gacha and everything it gave the protagonist every fucking week...oof, I really should have spaced it out to every two weeks or once a month.

It was 6 gachas of 10 rolls across 35 chapters, It was a ton of things.

Basically, there's a ton of stuff to keep in mind for a high-tier world that's already packed with content. It's not exactly beginner-friendly for a first fic—it gave me a hard time, hahaha—but somehow I managed to get through it.

I had to do a ton of research... which is why it took me so long to publish the chapters. I'm aware of the delay—it was justified, but I still give myself a 1 out of 10 in updates for a new chapter.

I also want to highlight the good points...the chapters aren't just 1,500 measly words like they do nowadays lol.

So, my advice to you is, if you're going to write something, pick something simple and keep the fanfic short, haha. (for your first time), I recommend 2000 words per chapter and you will be fine.

Some cool low tier world with a strong simple cheat should do it.

Use google docs, google docs is the goat for authors.

Also, keep in mind how well you know the series you choose, another mistake I made was picking a series as loooooong as DxD. Sure, I didn't remember everything but I watched the anime (four seasons, the last one when it came out) and the novel so many years ago…I skimmed until they killed Trihexa.

Fuck the ExE gods. For me that part is just a multiversal slop.

DxD ended with the death of Trihexa. At least for me.

I consider DxD a series with great potential that was ruined by its protagonist and the shitty ecchi, which makes you cringe pretty hard once you're in your twenties.

The girls are cute...I'll give DxD that, but I'm not 15 anymore bro...I don't want to goon haha.

I'm here to read and write. That 's it.

That's why, when I wrote the smut chapter (chapter 19), I didn't feel anything. That's when I realized that, as an author, I don't want to be writing that kind of thing.

Which brings me to the romance in this fanfic.

I had to give it more time, build it up more... but I made several mistakes.

First and foremost, as an author, I'm not particularly interested in writing Xenovia, but I do think she is the perfect match for Samuel/Lucerion.

The couple needs to share something in common. I can't give the protagonist some goddess from a different pantheon—they are people from vastly different worlds. IN EVERY ASPECT.

Goin on…

I realized that you have to like a character at least a little bit to write them, now I understand why other authors struggle to write certain characters... It's kind of funny because I actually started to like Xenovia as a character near the end...just when it didn't matter anymore xd.

You guys know I don't like harems—I can't stand that harem-logic nonsense or the "gotta catch 'em all" mentality. I also think that if you're new and have to juggle that many female characters as an author, you're going to burn out.

Forget that, you're going to melt.

That's why I recommend doing single pairing for your first fanfic. Choose wisely.

Once you gain some experience, you'll have a solid foundation for doing a proper harem story...If such a thing even exists.

I don't like massive harems, but I am in favor of just two girls. It's way more manageable.

I don't think it falls into the harem category, because I believe a harem involves three or more...with just two girls, it would be...a happy love triangle? lmao maybe I'm coping with this one.

But I think I can make it work when I rewrite this fanfic.

The rewrite of this fanfic isn't going to be a single pairing...it's going to be two girls. Just two. Xenovia and…

Well, you'll have to read the rewrite when it comes out—muahaha!

The rewrite or remake if you want to call it.

Well, I don't know when the rewrite will happen, but it will happen—it'll be bigger, with more content and more situations, the gacha rolls will change, the gacha won't be weekly, and there's plenty more…

An important detail about the rewrite is that I'm going to change the protagonist's name. He won't start out as the human Samuel who later ascended and became Lucerion.

One mistake I made—and I hope you don't make it too—is that I changed the name in Chapter 28...and you just shouldn't do that, it felt weird writing "Lucerion." for me since that chapter haha.

Lucerion is a good name but still it feels weird for me to change from Samuel to Lucerion.

But I was also somewhat right to do it, a god can't have a normal name as "Samuel"—he is a god, after all.

What do you think of the name Lucien? I like short names. Lucien Lancaster—and later he will ascend to become Lucien, King of the Stars, God of the Cosmos.

Alright, to wrap up this topic—sharing my own journey writing this and listing the mistakes I made so me and everyone can learn a thing or two—I'd like to say, watch out for shitty tropes—cloning shit, telling people you're from another world in Chapter 1, blurting out what your powers are, etc.

If you're a reader on this site, you know what I mean. Be careful with that stuff because they're shitty tropes and red flags...and if your fanfic has any of them, it can be dead on arrival lol.

Don't write "tag-along" stories. From time to time I've read works where authors just retell canon events—with the protagonist doing nothing but occasionally tossing in a comment. Don't do that. Create something new—situations, conversations, something.

Goin on... if you're going to write a fanfic... mentally prepare yourself to get trashed by the readers, hahaha.

That's just how it is—it's typical on this site and others. My advice? Don't take it personally. I've been trashed too (read the comments of the first chapters lol), though not quite as badly. More good comments than bad ones. At the same time, I'm not so thick-headed as to simply look down on every insult and ignore it.

Amidst those comments—amidst that sea of insults, condescension, and tasteless conjecture and assumptions…some of them actually had a point.

Also, consider where the insult comes from. I checked the profile of one of the guys who was insulting me, and it's nothing but insults and one-star reviews—so the real issue is just that person trolling, or whatever he is doing.

I'm already seeing some trolls doing ragebait in other fanfics, just for the love of the game, I checked one guy's profile and he had "Dao of Ragebaiting" in his bio lmaoooo this mf fr.

Watch out for the professional complainers too.

Goin on…

Be careful how you present the fanfic, too. I'd suggest not using an image that looks like AI for the cover—it can be AI, but it shouldn't look like it...hope you get what I mean. I highly recommend Pinterest for finding images for your characters or a potential cover, I discovered that page a while back, and it's my best friend for things like this.

The fanfic needs to have a short title...not a long one like "One Piece: I Got a Cheat System and Now I Have a Pikachu."

Not only are you bad at coming up with titles, but now everyone thinks you're Chinese. Or worse a translator.

Dont do the Chinamaxxing guys hahaha.

Shorter titles guys.

You list the franchise the fanfic is based on (shorten it if possible) and a title—like with this fanfic, I love my title and I'll defend it to the death—I will die on that hill, lol.

The first thing you have to write in the synopsis is "[Not a translation]"

I curse the day translators start doing that even when the fanfic is a translation...but since they're like leeches, it's bound to happen, haha.

Don't waste the reader's time, write a good synopsis and include a note below about what to expect from the story—whether the protagonist is OP, if there's a harem, a single pairing, etc.

Also, use the correct tags for your story. Huge points if you do.

Do the same thing in the first chapter, start by reiterating what to expect from the story.

We're doubling—no, tripling—down on this, guys.

We don't waste readers' time, we don't bait them, and we are upfront about the story's intentions.

Don't bait making announcements. I mean, an author only updates to say, "Guys, I'm not posting a chapter because of X."

Personally I'm tired of the "guys I'm sick" excuse. Bruh.

We readers are like "bruh i came for a chapter and this guy is just saying he will not post."

In cases like this, it is best to say nothing. Remember, this is the internet...you don't owe anyone an explanation.

If you want to make an announcement, do it at the end of the chapter along with the author's notes (author's notes always go at the end, by the way, like I'm doing in the last couple of chapters)

If you're going to drop a fanfic, never say anything about it. It might sound a bit harsh, sure, but who knows? Maybe you were just feeling a bit down that day and were fine by the next—but by then, you'd already announced you were dropping it... or maybe a week goes by and you suddenly feel like writing again.

That's why it's best not to say a word if you're going to drop a story.

The door is open, but remember to leave it open too if you want to come back. Right?

If you have any other question about starting doing fanfics you can ask in the general comments no problem.

Goin on.

My next fanfic.

It's a RWBY fanfic like I said a lot of times.

Objectively speaking, the series is bad, but I still like it... heh. I don't know what it is about that series, but I just like it.

Since it's bad, that's why there are various fanfics... and I'm going to write one.

I've already got everything planned, the title, the cover image, a written synopsis, and the plot for the fanfic—plus, I know everything there is to know about RWBY.

The hard part is the actual writing, as always, haha... the chapters will be around 3,000 words long.

They'll be published here on this site, on FanFiction(dot)net, and on Wattpad.

I'll see about posting them elsewhere, too.

I'm also going to post advanced chapters on Patreon and Ko-fi. I've already set up accounts there, though nothing has been posted yet.

To conclude, my thanks.

A huge thank you to everyone who read the fanfic—even more so to those who made it to the end, and especially to the regulars. I know who you are.

And I mean it—I read ALL the comments, the reviews, even the ones leaving Power Stones in the fans ranking of the fic. I know who you are—partly because I'm chronically online reading on this site and others, so yeah, haha—thank you, you absolute GOATs.

This is the final chapter; I'd love to see your comments so I can see your faces—well, your profile pictures in this case—from my goblin readers to my ghost readers haha.

If you enjoyed this fanfic and would like to support me, I'd appreciate a donation on Ko-fi.

if you want to, of course.

Same username as always. Here the link
