Chapter 334 - Chapter 334: The Incredible Adventure (3)

"Hello, Mr. Son Gohan."

In the small cabin on Mount Paozu, Bulma took off her cap and bowed respectfully. Goku stood beside her, puzzled about why this usually rude girl had suddenly become so polite. Across from them stood Son Gohan, wearing a small round hat.

Years had passed, but Son Gohan still appeared youthful, with a head of white hair but a face that seemed much younger than his years. As he looked at the pretty young girl before him, he nodded and then asked curiously, "You really are the descendant of my master?"

"Of course, why would I lie?" Bulma replied, a little annoyed.

"You're not lying?" Goku, standing beside them, clearly didn't believe her. He recalled the incident where she had claimed she didn't bleed when urinating, but he certainly thought that was a lie. Bulma shot him a fierce glare, but Goku didn't care, as he had no concept of not being rude to a girl.

"What is your family name?" Son Gohan asked after a moment of contemplation.

He could sense some of his master's aura in Bulma, but after many generations, the trace was faint. Additionally, Bulma's appearance and demeanor resembled his wife, Hathaway, quite a lot. He believed that Bulma's claim of being a descendant of Taro was likely true.

"Mu Lin..." Bulma pursed her lips before reluctantly saying a name she didn't particularly like.

She didn't care much for the name "Bulma" either... but when she had children one day, she would definitely choose a nicer name! As she thought about this, her eyes wandered toward Goku, who was a few heads shorter than her, and her mind started to wander.

Son Gohan nodded. Being able to know what a Family name was and provide one proved that Bulma's words were true.

"If you still don't believe me, I have another piece of evidence!" Bulma suddenly remembered something, pinched her nose, and laughed mischievously. "I can live without breathing through my lungs, and I can survive normally! For example, like this, or even live freely underwater!"

She closed her mouth and stared at Son Gohan with her big eyes, blinking rapidly.

Son Gohan chuckled in surprise, realizing that Bulma had inherited her master's abilities, just like his master and the old Mu Tam. It seemed she, too, had the ability to survive in space. He waved his hand and said, "Alright, I believe you now. But since you've come all the way here to see me, is there something you need?"

"She also has your grandfather's Dragon Ball!" Goku suddenly remembered and immediately reported it to his grandfather.

"Oh?" Son Gohan raised an eyebrow.

Bulma took out the One-Star Ball and the Dragon Radar from her bag. "I found this Dragon Ball in my home's warehouse… and I found this too!" She then took out the Shenrong tapestry, unfolded it, and showed it to Son Gohan.

"I learned about the seven Dragon Balls from the inscriptions on this tapestry, and like the lady in the story, I tried to make a Dragon Radar. Since it's summer vacation, I thought I'd go on a trip and try to collect all seven Dragon Balls…"

She spoke as her eyes subtly flickered toward the Four-Star Ball on the counter behind Son Gohan. Son Gohan's small cabin wasn't big, and as soon as Bulma entered, she had noticed that Dragon Ball.

Son Gohan didn't think much when she took out the One-Star Ball and the Dragon Radar, but when she showed him the tapestry, he was startled and immediately moved toward her. Bulma was caught off guard by his sudden movement, and before she could react, he had taken the tapestry from her hands.

After briefly scanning the symbols and inscriptions, Son Gohan smiled with realization. He thought to himself, "I knew it. Master would never have sent the seven Dragon Balls to a densely populated place. How could this little girl find them in her own home's warehouse? I see now... What Master referred to as 'Goku's opportunity' is this event?"

"But collecting the seven Dragon Balls... with Master's wife or the Phoenix's help, we could easily gather them all. What's the big opportunity? Or was Master referring to Goku's journey to gather the Dragon Balls with this little girl as a test? Did he have some plans for the journey...?"

While Son Gohan was deep in thought, Bulma, curious, asked, "Mr. Gohan, have you seen this cloth before? Or do you know the writing on it?"

The clever little girl... but of course, she was the descendant of Master's wife. Son Gohan returned the tapestry to Bulma and smiled as he said, "Bulma, do you know who the lady in the story was who created the radar to find her lover?"

"Who?"

"It was my master's wife."

"Ah?! So it was Grandma Hathaway? The prince on the white horse... I mean the male lead, was that Grandpa Taro?" Bulma exclaimed, her eyes wide with surprise. It was like a fairy tale come to life, and she was the continuation of that story, the descendant of the two main characters.

"Of course," Son Gohan nodded. He walked over to the counter, picked up the Four-Star Ball, and handed it to Bulma with a gentle smile. "Since Master wants you to collect the seven Dragon Balls, take this Four-Star Ball."

"Hehe, thank you!" Bulma happily took the Four-Star Ball, now her second Dragon Ball. That made it two out of seven! However, she suddenly noticed something in Son Gohan's words and asked, "Why does Grandpa Taro 'want me to collect the seven Dragon Balls'? I thought I was the one who wanted to collect them, and that's why I made the Dragon Radar!"

Son Gohan just chuckled without saying much.

He had already guessed — and it wasn't hard to guess — that the Dragon Shenlong tapestry and One-Star Ball in Bulma's family warehouse had been purposely left there by Master. Considering the chances of Bulma finding them, Master must have placed some magic on these objects to draw her attention to them at the right time.

What a strange old man… Bulma muttered to herself, but she didn't dwell on it.

She had taken the Four-Star Ball, and now it was time to leave, but she suddenly felt a bit reluctant. Why had she decided to come out and search for the Dragon Balls in the first place? Maybe... she just wanted to have an experience like the lady in the story, Grandma Hathaway?

Bulma walked to the door, thought for a moment, then turned around, walked up to Goku, knocked on his head, and said arrogantly, "Hey, little monkey! Want to come with me to collect the Dragon Balls?"

"Can't you do it yourself?" Goku was unbothered by the knock, as if a mosquito had just bitten him. He found Bulma's invitation strange.

"Of course not!" Bulma huffed, rolling her eyes. "I'm such a beautiful and delicate girl. How could I possibly go across mountains and seas to collect seven Dragon Balls? It's too hard! Since you're so good at martial arts, will you help me?"

Goku laughed mockingly, "You're so weak!"

"Stop talking nonsense!" Bulma snarled, showing her teeth.

Son Gohan, watching from the side, did the math in his head and realized that Goku's official training with his master was about to begin. He smiled and said, "Goku, go with her. She's the little granddaughter of Master Taro, so take good care of her on the journey."
