Cass was a little worried and he felt he had every right to be. He'd been tossed onto his back on the large bed and three men loomed over him.
Two of them had glowing eyes, and the third? He might as well have them.
"Uh, guys?" Cass asked, a little worried as the bed creaked under him. Lucian's thick, heavy palm pressed into the bed near his ear as the man smiled. He looked content, like he'd caught a wild animal and was now going to tame it. Edgar licked his lips, crawling onto the bed on the other side. On his knees, pushing his blonde hair back in a move that had Cass' blood pumping.
Gideon was on the other side, staring at Cass like he was the vampire, not Edgar.
"I think," Lucian began softly, "that our sweet Cassy Baby needs a reminder that we care about him." Lucian's tone sent a shiver down his spine.
"What do you mean by that?" Cass asked, his body already bracing for whatever they had planned. Lucian smiled and it was all teeth.
