"...Aestrea, is there any way to see what's inside the seal?" Tyrian asked, unable to hide his curiosity. His eyes shone as he stared at the formation, excitement clearly written all over his face.
Aestrea frowned, but nodded, regaining a small smile.
"There is, but it's not cheap."
"I don't like where this is going." Kael immediately groaned.
Aestrea ignored him and continued, "To peek inside without breaking the seal, we'd need a lot of divine crystals. A few hundred high-grade ones, at least."
"…A few hundred?" Tyrian blinked.
"Yes," Aestrea nodded calmly.
"The seal is extremely sensitive. If we try to probe it directly with divine sense or raw mana, it will react. Best case, it shuts itself tighter. Worst case, it attacks."
Kael crossed his arms.
"So how do the crystals help?"
Aestrea walked closer to the formation and gestured at the dim lines of sigils.
