Cast List/Dramatis Personae

Atom/Maine's Crew

Atom (Humanity MAXED, MC, Head Gonk, Mighty Leia's Champion) - A 'failed' Arasaka clone of Adam Smasher and Out-of-Context Insert with Inspired Inventor+ but fading memories of canon. Hard, Spiteful, and determined, founding the Gonk Movement and leading the charge against the Hutts. Favored by the Force and chosen as a champion by Mighty Leia.

Sasha (Cyber-Human, Atom's Mainline Input, Gonk-a-ganda) - Part of Maine's OG crew. A netrunner who, quite literally, fell for Atom after a failed gig, being saved and devoting herself to him. Mischievous, enthusiastic, and willing to do whatever it takes for her Atom, be it spreading his good word through Gonk-a-ganda or seducing delicious senators.

Lucy (Cyber-Human, Atom's Side Input, Netrunning Lead for Project HUTT FILES) - A netrunner with a dark past as an Arasaka Black Wall experiment, forcing her on the run for most of her adult life. Linked up with Maine's crew, and Atom, and got swept up in the movement. Kuudere — chilled and has difficulty expressing herself in meatspace. Often ends up playing the straight man to Gonk antics.

Becca (Cyber-Human, Atom's Side Input, Rimbo Violence Gremlin) - A young Edgerunner who lives for violence. Likes to taunt, tease, and see how far she can push, but is always down to ride. Thinks Atom's pretty preem, and the violence that follows him is even more so.

David (Cyber-Human, Atom's Little Choom/Brother Figure, Gonk Fleet) - A Night City kid who wanted to be an Edgerunner. Tragedy turned to a whole new future when he met Atom and his long-lost father, Maine. Joined up real quick, was taken under an old spacer's wing, and now runs the Gonk Fleet for himself. Young and eager, with plenty to prove.

Taati (Togruta, David's Main Input, Mighty Leia's Sister) - A tribal Togruta lifted from her homeworld to end up on Nar Shaddaa, becoming a serving girl in the late Zorba's court. Met the crew by chance, and crushed hard on David. Their dates turned into a mainline. In the Gonk Movement, she acts as her output's, David's, secretary and right hand.

Gloria (Cyber-Human, David's Mother, Maine's Ex-Input) - A former Edgerunner in her prime, specializing in social gigs. Nicknamed the 'Kindest Rose of Night City, With All Her Hidden Thorns'. Saved from a terrible accident by Atom's Force Healing. Became something of a motherly figure to him and most of the Core Gonk Movement. Usually gentle, kind, and personable, but also real and pragmatic.

Maine (Cyber-Human, Edgerunning OG, 'Retired') - An old Edgerunner in a profession where men die young. Got Gloria pregnant with David, and only found out 18 years later. Trying to be a half-decent, if late, dad. Has pretty much passed the torch to his crew's younger generation and taken the chance to semi-retire. Gruff, experienced, and maybe just wise.

Dorio (Cyber-Human, Edgerunning OG, Maine's Current Input, 'Retired') - An experienced and veteran Edgerunning alongside her output, Maine. Like him, she's semi-retired, leaving the Gonk Movement to the crew's younger generation. Chilled and solid for the most part. Works best away from the spotlight, watching her partners' backs.

Kiwi (Cyber-Human, Netrunner, Fixer) - A netrunning vet with Maine's crew. Tends to be distant, but not hostile. As long as she can count on those beside her, they can count on her. Happy with her new role as THE Gonk Netrunning Fixer. Sarcastic and cutting, more at home on the net than in meatspace.

Nova (Natural-Born AI, Atom and Lucy's Daughter) - An impossibility made real, born of Force and Net. Has her father's Spite, and her mother's skill and chill. Curious, eager to please, help, and explore, and precious. Growing, developing, becoming more and more by the moment, a kernal of unique and infinite potential.

Gonk Cartel Core

Shaitan (Full-Borg, Edgerunning OG, Night City Legend) - A Legendary Night City Merc, one of the few with experience in the wider galaxy. Has an old, somewhat one-sided rivalry with Smasher. Solid, reliable, and dangerous.

Linth (Weequay, Spacer OG, Captain of the Gonk Fleet) - An old spacer who's done it all. Pirate, Smuggler, Explorer, Merc, and more. Uses a devil-may-care attitude to hide surprising competence. Took David under his wing once the Gonks took off and taught him to fly.

Coyate (Mandalorian, Merc OG, Gonk Spec-Ops, Mighty Leia's Brother) - A free-range Mando merc, making his living with what he knows best. Former Supercommando and True Mandalorian, trained under the late and legendary Jaster Mereel alongside Jango Fett. Veteran of the True Mandalorian-Deathwatch conflict, and like his old partners, holds a grudge against the Deathwatch. A man of few words and heavy action.

Shank (Gank, Leader of the Packs) - A Gank Killer of Nar Shaddaa. Like the rest of his species, he made his living via mercenary work, 'The Hunt'. After getting in on the Gonk ground floor, he pulled the Gank Packs to Atom's banner, and came to regarded as their leader due to the already nigh-mythical 'Slug Hunts'. Ruthless, violent, and almost pleasantly feral.

Suunri (Falleen, Former Hutt Courtesan, Gonk Internal Affairs) - A former courtesan of the late Zorba's court. With the Gonks, she manages internal affairs and watches the many groups beneath the Gonk banner. Words, promises, pheremones, sex appeal, and daggers wrapped in silk are her weapons of choice.

De'vi (Twi'lek, Former Hutt Harem Girl, Gonk Internal Affairs, Liaison to the Freed, Mighty Leia's Sister) - A Former harem girl in the late Zorba's collection. The darling and bright spot of that dark court, loved by all who truly knew her and looking out for all she could, for she never lost the simple goodness in her star-invested soul. Even freed, she continues to care for all of her chained siblings.

Sstala (Sakiyan, Former Hutt Manager, Gonk Chief Secretary) - The right-hand woman and true driving force behind the late Zorba's operations. Unappreciated but essential, when given the chance, she didn't hesitate to jump to a better ship. With the Gonks, she acts as COO, shouldering much of the essential organizational work so her new, so-much-better boss can focus on changing the galaxy.

Podry (Human, Former Fighting Pit Slave, Freed and Founder of the Freest Legion, Mighty Leia's Brother) - A life-long slave, sold to the fighting pits of Nar Shaddaa when he was just a boy after the slow, tragic deaths of his parents. Fighting was all he knew. Even after being freed, that truth remains. He founded the Freest Legion so he might contribute in Mighty Leia's name, the only way he knows how.

Night City Locals

Adam Smasher (Full-Borg, Night City Legend, Arasaka's Chrome Rancor) - A Legend born to the Coruscant Underworld, surviving the annihilation of his gang there, and escaping to eventually get picked up by Saburo Arasaka. Full-Borg with no regrets. Prefers the certainty of steel and chrome; utterly disdains meat. A blunt, brutal, ruthless, and un-Gonkly dangerous murder machine.

V (Cyber-Human, Smasher's Handler, Granddaughter, and Chosen Successor, Bad MF) - A Night City native, gone corpo with Arasaka. Assigned as Smasher's handler. Also, his direct descendant via the female 'Smasher' line ("THE ONLY OF MY DESCENDENTS WORTH A DAMN," Smasher claims). A Bad MF with maxed out Cool and the murder potential to succeed Smasher one day.

Saburo Arasaka (Cyber-Human, The Old Man/Emperor of Arasaka) - The ancient 'Emperor' of the Arasaka megacorporation. Proud, honorable, and ambitious enough to push Arasaka to the top of Night City's intense corpo competition. Smart enough to fall in with the Gonks to push his corp even higher. Note: Arasaka does have interstellar reach and scope, but of the galactic megacorps, they're relatively small fries.

Isla (Cyber-Human, Arasaka Samurai, V's Unnecessary Protection) - An Arasaka corpo samurai with a solid and professional track record. Often found herself working with V, until she was assigned as V's personal samurai. She's quickly become something like V's right-hand woman (and maybe handler as V is to Smasher…).

Panam Palmer (Cyber-Human, Nomad Leader and Gonk Liaison) - A born Nomad who took a chance on the Gonks against her clan leader's stance. That chance paid off, and she's now the de facto head of all the Nomad clans wherever the Gonks are concerned. Also, one of the leading captains of the Gonk Fleet.

Falco (Cyber-Human, Nomad, Gonk Fleet Ace Pilot) - A born Nomad turned spacer, returning to Night City to join up with the Gonks. Since getting in on the Gonk Fleet's ground floor, he's quickly risen to become one of the best pilots the Gonks have.

Morgan Blackhand (Cyber-Human, Retired Night City Legend, Merc, Old Friend of Dooku) - An old Night City Legend, long retired — one of the few Legends to actually live to do so. Now, he spends his days on a pleasure yacht orbiting Nar Shaddaa, with Zeltron twins (Rozy and Lirya) on his arms, enjoying the show and ignoring Smasher's one-sided rivalry with him.

Jackie Welles (Cyber-Human, Former Valentino, Gonk Grunt) - A young but ambitious Edgerunner, dreaming of being a Night City Legend. He was quick to sign up with the Gonks when he first heard about them, bringing his mainline, Misty, and ripperdoc, Vik, along for the ride. Mostly a gear in the Gonk machine, but he knows V from their shared past and is always eager to get in on some action.

Jedi

Fay (Nigh-Immortal Force Elf, Wandering Emissary of the Force, Mighty Leia's Sister) - A mysterious and potent wandering Jedi master, somewhat estranged from the current Order. Her connection to the Force is pure and intense, almost Force-made-flesh, and she often acts as its Unifying Voice, Extended Hand, and even an Oracle at times. Called to Nar Shaddaa by potential in the Force, she has pledged herself to Atom's cause and Atom himself. Wise and experienced, calm and compassionate, she is a beacon of pure, guiding, fortifying Light. Surprisingly innocent in her immortality, she's also easily flustered by romance.

Aayla Secura (Twi'lek, Jedi Knight, Mighty Leia's Sister) - A Jedi Knight and Jedi Shadow in training. She has known chains at several points in her life, fallen to the Dark Side, and risen back to the Light. Due to that controversial past by the Order's standards, she prefers staying in the field to staying in the Jedi Temple. Despite her harried past, or perhaps due to it, she is always looking to do rather than watch, wait, or meditate. Intensely empathetic, more so than most Jedi, she wears her heart on her sleeve. She also may or may not have a Human fetish like many of her species.

Quinlan Vos (Kiffar, Jedi Knight, Jedi Shadow, Mighty Leia's Brother) - A Jedi Knight and Jedi Shadow, often operating in unsanctioned ways and areas by the Order's standards. Aayla's Master and now, training Shadow, as well. Open-minded and unorthodox. Stoic and deadpan.

Ani Skywalker (Human, Jedi Padawan, 'Chosen One', Mighty Leia's Sister) - A former slave girl on Tatooine, freed but forced to leave her mother behind for the Order. Hailed as the prophesied 'Chosen One'. The chains once anchoring her to that fate have started to be overthrown. Dreams of freeing all of her siblings in chains. She has now started on those dreams with her mother, thanks to Mighty Leia's Laws. Young, snarky, rebellious, and passionate, but still deeply good at heart and always looking to do good. Crushing hard on Padme, and idolizing Atom (which may very well turn into more…)

Obi-Wan Kenobi (Human, Jedi Knight, Mighty Leia's Brother) - A Jedi Knight and the first Jedi to supposedly kill a Sith in centuries. Ani's Master and exasperated big brother figure. Pretends to be much too sensible and grounded for Ani's antics, but can be just as ridiculous as her when given the chance. Briefly knew chains for himself, though Ani doesn't know about that. Despite the Jedi Code, he truly does love and care for his little sister figure and always tries to do right by her. All he does, he does for her.

Yoda (Nigh-Immortal Force Gremlin, Jedi Master, Grandmaster of the Order, Fay's Junior) - An ancient Jedi gremlin with way too much power in his little body and way too much wisdom in his little mind. Grandmaster and spiritual head of the Order. Though sometimes blind to its current faults, he does aim to maintain the Jedi. Long ago, as a youngling, he followed Fay around like a chaotic duckling. He hasn't grown out of that chaos nearly as much as some might think.

Mace Windu (Human, Jedi Master, Master of the Order, Shatterpoint User, Leader of the Jedi Council's Old Traditionalist Stance) - A Jedi Master on the High Council and the functional head of the Order. He was born with the rare ability to see shatterpoints in the Force, be they physical, mental, or fateful. The shatterpoints he sees have given him a unique perspective of reality, for he, more than most, is constantly aware of how close everything always is to shattering. He carries that heavy weight with stoicism and hardline conviction.

Ki-Adi-Mundi (Cerean, Jedi Master, Seat on the Council, Leader of the Council's Reformationist Stance) - A Jedi Master on the High Council. Leads a shared stance that looks to the Ruusan Reformation as the path the Order should take, including more and more integration into the Republic until there's barely any distinction at all. His Reformationists have the majority in the current Order. He is obstinately self-assured in the superiority of his species' intelligence, unswayable in his views, hypocritical or not, and perhaps best embodies the current state of the Order.

Plo Koon (Kel Dor, Jedi Master, Seat on the Council, Old Traditionalist Maverick) - A Jedi Master on the High Council and something of a maverick, falling in with Mace's Old Traditionalist Stance. Noble, honorable, and empathetic, he cares.

Shaak Ti (Togruta, Jedi Master, Seat on the Council, Old Traditionalist Maverick) - A Jedi Master on the High Council, who has worked hard to master herself and the hot-running emotions of her species. She is one of the Council's newest sitting members. The recency of her rise to the position leaves her view more unclouded than most, still grounded with the rest of the Order and work in the field beyond the Temple. This, and her relative youth by Council standards, are what make her a maverick.

Sith

Dooku/Darth Tyranus (Human, Sith Lord, Leader of the Separatist Movement, Founding a New Rule of Two) - A former Jedi Master, disillusioned with the Order and corrupted to the Sith. Believes that he and all Force Users have an inherent right to rule… and the responsibility that comes with it. A political idealist opposing all the Republic has become, but also a realist, and still Dark in his idealism. He has turned against his former Sith Master and dedicated himself to forming a New Sith Rule of Two, leading his Separatist movement in earnest. Stern, stoic, and serious, he is determined to bring change to a stagnant galaxy, for good or for ill.

Ventress/Darth ?? (Dathomirian Nightsister, Dooku's Sith Apprentice, The Second Sith in Dooku's New Rule of Two, Mighty Leia's Sister) - A Nightsister taken as a slave from Dathomir when she was young. Eventually freed and trained by a stranded Jedi, falling to the Dark Side with his death and being taken on as a Sith Acolyte by Dooku. Only recently elevated to true Sith Apprentice status with Dooku's decision to go against his own Master. Passionate, powerful, ambitious, and brimming with potential yet to be molded, Dooku intends for her to be his true successor, no longer just another tool.

Palpatine/Darth Sidious (Human, Hidden Sith Lord, Chancellor of the Republic) - A Master, Lord, and pinnacle of the Sith, with Grand, Grand Plans. As a consummate and calculating schemer, he rose to the peak of power within the Republic without ever revealing himself. Now, he plots from on high to bring about every one of his ambitions, all for himself. Absolutely narcissistic, arrogant, intelligent, and cruel, Palpatine is his mask; Sidious is the truth beneath.

Sly Moore (Umbaran, Hidden Dark Side Acolyte, Chancellor's Chief of Staff) - A senatorial aide with latent, undiscovered Force sensitivity. Effective enough at her day job that Sidious decided to take her for himself. He secretly awakened her potential, corrupted and broke her, and then rebuilt her entirely in his image. She is slavishly devoted to Sidious, who sees her as a mere novelty, not worth true Apprenticeship.

Celestial

Mighty Leia (Celestial, Starry Sister to All Who Know Chains) - A Celestial once enslaved and now ascended to watch over all of her siblings in chains. A figure of myth, yet very real; she is THE cornerstone of slave culture across the galaxy. She acts where she can to fulfill her vow to her enslaved siblings and break their chains. She's now taken something of a liking to the Gonks and all they're doing in the Heart of Chains. She is currently more active than she's ever been, enabled to choose several champions — Podry, Ani, Fay, and Atom, who started the new wave in her name.

Republic

Padme Amidala (Human, Republic's Senator for Naboo and Chomell Sector, Loyalist/Pacifist) - A young politician — first elected Queen and then Senator for her planet — who is always willing to stand up for what she believes in and what is right. An idealist, but not so stubborn that she can't change her mind. After her visit to Free Nar Shaddaa, she's come around to good and proper hatred of the Hutts and all they represent. Prefers peace, but is willing to fight if she must. Doesn't catch feelings easily, but once she does, she falls hard (for both Ani and Atom).

Bail Organa (Human, Republic's Senator for Alderaan, Loyalist/Pacifist) - A widely respected and well-connected career politician who stands as a leading figure in the Senate and in Republic politics. Friend to Padme and married to Alderaan's Queen. De facto head of Alderaan's mysterious Espionage Corps

Criminal Opposition

Hutt Cartels (Hutts, Gonk Enemy Number 1) - A feudal-esque criminal society spanning the whole of the Hutt species and deeply entrenched in the galaxy for millennia. While they share a species at the top of their organization and a Council of Ruling Hutts, they are far from unified. Even then, a single Hutt Cartel is often powerful enough to rival whole supersectors of space, and grouped vaguely together, they form one of the few sovereign states in the galaxy outside of the Republic.

Black Suns (Species Vary, Core Worlds' Criminal Syndicate, Reach Far and Wide, Sidious's Primary Criminal Arm) - A multi-species, interstellar criminal syndicate originating from the Coruscant Underworld. While they have their hands in many places across the galaxy, their main center of power is in the Core. Yet that center of power alone allows them to rival the Hutts and their sovereign state. While they have previously operated as Sidious's criminal arm of choice, a new dark power has begun to usurp the Sith Lord's control over the highest levels of the syndicate.

Pyke Syndicate (Pyke, Leading Spice Cartel in the Galaxy) - Mostly a secondary power in the galaxy's criminal scene, except for anywhere that spice is concerned. When it comes to spice, the Pykes are kings. The galaxy is fortunate that they weren't the ones to discover kyber-spice and weren't able to get in on that spice rush.
