After getting sneaked attacked by that golden crowned genius, Max had decided to enter the deepest parts of the forest so as to encounter more of these strange beasts.
Days passed just like that. He would often encounter three or five strange beasts if he were lucky otherwise the numbers were only one and two. They were present in the forest but at the outer edges, they were pitifully rare.
Half a month passed just like that as Max finally made it into the deep corner of the forest.
The moment Max stepped into the heart of the glowing forest, the atmosphere shifted. The tranquil hum of spatial energy turned sharp, vibrating with a low, hostile rhythm. The blue leaves rustled violently, and the pink trunks trembled faintly as the air around Max began to distort.
