Chapter 283: The Fall of the Clear Sky Twin Stars

As Yang Potian finished speaking, he gripped his Soul-Breaking Spear, and a set of five black and four red spirit rings emerged around him.

With both hands on the spear, he lunged toward Tang Hao and Tang Xiao, his movement simple yet overwhelming, as though it could tear through the very heavens.

Tang Hao and Tang Xiao exchanged a glance, each seeming to reach a final resolution. Summoning every last bit of their spirit power, they activated their Spirit Avatars, transforming into two towering figures, each wielding an immense Clear Sky Hammer.

Desperate to land a final, fatal blow, both unleashed all remaining power, even detonating their soul rings. Tang Hao shattered his red-gray ninth soul ring, while Tang Xiao detonated his last as well. Their combined force created a massive Clear Sky Hammer, half-red and half-blue, blending their powers in a way akin to a spirit fusion skill.

Watching their movements, Yang Potian chuckled. "I never expected the Clear Sky Twin Stars to possess such hidden strength. Impressive, but since ring detonation is your trump card, let me show you the pinnacle of this art."

With that, Yang Potian detonated the first two rings on his Soul-Breaking Spear, pouring their energy into his ninth ring. As it glowed, the spear enlarged, turning golden. It now shimmered with multifaceted attributes beyond its natural power—gold, wood, fire, earth, space, darkness, spirit, and bloodthirst.

This was Yang Potian's ultimate ninth spirit skill: Shooting the Sun.

With a powerful throw, the massive Soul-Breaking Spear pierced through the immense Clear Sky Hammer forged by Tang Hao and Tang Xiao's self-destruction. The impact shattered their combined attack to dust, as though it would pierce the heavens.

When the dust settled, Tang Hao and Tang Xiao lay sprawled on the ground, their bodies broken and their meridians and bones shattered. Their spirit power had entirely dissipated; they were little more than remnants of their former selves.

Tang Hao, his voice filled with rage and disbelief, gasped, "How… how do you know our clan's secret technique for detonating rings?"

Yang Potian ignored his question and disappeared for a moment, only to reappear carrying the bodies of a few surviving disciples of the Clear Sky Clan on his spear. These few were all that remained of the Clear Sky Clan's last hopes, tossed away in Tang Hao and Tang Xiao's final desperate attempt.

Looking down at the two barely-breathing brothers, Yang Potian said coldly, "There's only Tang San left in the Clear Sky Clan. Don't worry—I'll send him to join you soon. From this day forward, there will be no Clear Sky Clan in this world."

With a swift motion, he severed their heads, ending the lives of the Clear Sky Twin Stars.

And with their deaths, the Clear Sky Clan was no more. Scattering the remains to the wind, Yang Potian watched as his flames reduced the corpses to ashes. Amidst the ashes glinted fragments of spirit bones, remnants of these powerful figures.

Collecting the spirit bones and artifacts, Yang Potian departed, leaving only the scattered ashes of what was once the mighty Clear Sky Clan.

His form flickered, and he reappeared outside the Clear Sky Clan's base. After a swift search of their stronghold, he left with a smirk. Despite the clan's impressive achievements, there were no hidden secrets to be found. Tang Chen's rise to the level of Limit Douluo, coupled with the clan's ability to produce five Titled Douluo within a few short decades, seemed to owe nothing to hidden treasures.

In a flash, Yang Potian was in Heaven Dou City, watching from afar as the battle unfolded in the royal palace—a scene he anticipated eagerly. Inside the palace, following the fall of the Clear Sky Clan, Bibi Dong led the Titled Douluo in a decisive charge against the Heaven Dou City forces, with devastating results.

The Spirit Empire's assault left the Heaven Dou Empire's military and court spirit masters decimated. All members of the royal family, both direct and extended, were systematically hunted down and killed, including any with even a trace of imperial blood. Bibi Dong's plans, meticulously prepared over years of infiltration and manipulation, ensured a ruthless sweep that left no one alive.

For the Spirit Empire, this battle was about annihilating the Heaven Dou Empire's power structure, erasing any trace of the imperial line. Powerful spirit masters, such as those close to the throne, were targeted by multiple Titled Douluo at once to ensure their elimination. The battle left Heaven Dou City soaked in blood, a scene of relentless slaughter.

Meanwhile, the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan found itself luckier, yet far from safe. The clan's remaining members managed to break free under the leadership of Sword Douluo, Bone Douluo, and Ning Fengzhi, yet they suffered heavy losses, with only a few dozen escaping. Initially planning to seek refuge in Heaven Dou City, they halted halfway upon hearing the sounds of fierce fighting, realizing they'd be walking into a death trap.

Assessing the scene, Ning Fengzhi realized that Heaven Dou City was overrun by Spirit Empire forces, with the presence of nearly a dozen Titled Douluo. Any attempt to enter the city would lead to certain death, especially given the injuries to Sword Douluo and Bone Douluo. Sword Douluo, in particular, was in dire straits after leading the charge to break through the encirclement, his body marred by deep, bloody wounds. His injuries were worse than the last battle, as the combined might of Qianjun and Jiangmo Douluo exceeded his own.

Ning Fengzhi clenched his teeth. "Sword Uncle, Bone Uncle, going to Heaven Dou City would mean death. Our only chance is to head to Sky Journey Academy—they may be our last hope for sanctuary."

Bone Douluo looked doubtful. "Can they be trusted? Sky Journey Academy has always remained neutral. They might not risk offending the Spirit Empire for us."

Gazing at the handful of remaining survivors, Ning Fengzhi grimaced. "We don't have any other choice. Without Sky Journey Academy, we have nowhere left."

Following Ning Fengzhi's decision, the survivors fled north, but their pursuers seemed determined. Five Titled Douluo followed in pursuit, joined by several Spirit Douluo and Spirit Saints. Any lagging members were swiftly killed.

Sword Douluo fought desperately to hold back their pursuers, buying time for the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan to escape. Whenever he was nearly cornered, he summoned his sword to make a daring escape, consuming herbs to sustain himself despite his injuries.

Seeing the Clan's tenacity, Jiangmo Douluo grumbled, "For an auxiliary clan, these Seven Treasure Glazed Tile folks can run like rabbits. And Sword Douluo—I didn't expect him to have such skill in escape."

Qianjun Douluo, more composed, replied, "If we can't catch them soon, it doesn't matter. They're minor players compared to our true target. Our task is to regroup with Her Majesty for what comes next."

Hearing this, the other Titled Douluo nodded in agreement, understanding their greater mission
